About Me
God is so awesome. Come visit us on our website
at www.KingdomFaithMinistries.Org!
My Interests
In off time I like to putter around the farm -- cutting trees, running my sawmill, trying to finish 20 year old projects like a barn, chicken coop, etc. We live are surrounded by state forest. Lots of bear, deer, turkey, fox and coyotes, and our little Brittany who goes crazy whenever he sees a bird.
Employment or Career
We moved to Massachusetts in 1988 to a small farm. Paul took an engineering project manager's job, and Rita started working in the local hospital. Paul stayed in the the Navy reserves as an O-5 Commander, and in about '92 the Lord told him to lay it down after 17 years of service. The project engineering manager's job gradually grew into being engineering manager for various fortune 500 corporation manufacturing plants.
One day while in the middle of praise and worship, the Lord told Paul to stop doing the home church and go to a little local church. After about three months they asked Paul to become the pastor. Then the Lord told him to lay down the engineering also and come back to full time ministry. (He later saw how both the Navy and the engineering had become false identities that competed with Christ in his life. How wonderful God is! He's jealous over His kids!)
The first assignment He gave Paul after a couple of mission trips (India and Romania) was to write a book to teach people how to hear His voice clearly and confidently. It's been 11 years since then, and 9 books and lots of missions work later. 'Still pastoring that little country church, as well as doing the traveling/teaching/writing/missions thing in Africa, India, Pakistan and Guatemala mostly. Rita and I are so blessed! We started doing work under the name of Kingdom Faith Ministries International, and have a website at www.kingdomfaith.org .
Anyway, that's the thumbnail. The website postings really tell a more complete picture. As you can see, the Lord has continued to have me write newsletters. He is remarkable and I am very grateful to Him allowing me to be a part of what He is doing.
We have three wonderful children, two boys and a girl. The boys are paramedics/EMT's and on their own now, and the empty nest thing is happening. Our daughter is about to graduate from college and is into raising Arabian purebred horses here at the farm. The oldest son is married and we sure enjoy being grandparents! Rita was the primary home school teacher, and we are camped out on 90 acres in a wonderful cedar log home on a hilltop. It's so cool to see the snow falling through the pine trees. But the best part of all is being able to sit beside the wood stove and pray, and enjoy the quiet fellowship alone with our King and with our heavenly Father. He is so good and gracious.
With this holiday season past, I thought a lot about the wise men. Yesterday I taught on how the wise men were pre-prepared with anticipation and teaching as they looked for the signs in the stars for the coming Messiah. Five hundred years after Daniel taught the Magi in Nebuchanezzar's court to be looking for the Messiah, they were still diligently seeking the signal of His coming. And when they saw it in the heavenlies, they did the enormous journey of over 1500 miles to come to where they were directed by "His star." This was no small accomplishment, and it took them approximately 14 months to make the journey.
I want to stay full of expectation for His coming. Each day I want to diligently seek His arrival. Each day in our prayer closet I look forward to meeting Him in that place He went to go prepare, so that "where I am, you may be also." But that day when we shall see Him face to face is sure going to be awesome!
Music I Like
Never been big on music. Instead it's more fun to listen to what the Spirit of God is saying on the inside in the secret place of the Most High! But my favorite songs have always been "Just a Closer Walk With Him" and "Until Then."
Books I Like
Well, I'm kind of prejudiced. I guess I like the ones the Lord has given me to write.
Sports Teams I like
Last superbowl I caught was in 1968 -- Green Bay packers. That was probably also the last football game I ever watched. But when with others who get excited about a sports team, I can usually get into it. It was great being in Guatemala and seeing some high-charged folks cheering for their favorite soccer teams. I got really into soccer with them.

Nice to see ya here. Hey, want to go hitchhiking.haha remember Fort Smith, Ark.? Paul, you would have gotten a kick out me teasing an Air Force recruitor who came to my house six years ago. My son wanted to enlist in the Air Force and the recruitor wanted to meet me. He asked me what i thought about the air force so i asked him, "who did they pick to make the movie top gun, Navy or Air Force? Of course he said Navy, and I replied with, Best damn pilots in the world are in the Navy. He was taken back, speechless untill I told him I was just busting his chops. We both got a good laugh.
Hello there. You look terrific in your picture. We are still in the same house in NY that we have been in since we moved here. Rita, you were such a blessing to me in the Corps office so many years ago. I am thankful for you.
Bless you,
Mimi

At this point I intend to stay active until I retire. I'm looking forward to hearing from you after all this time.
