I was really praying you'd find your way here- welcome. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a blessing this site has been to my life- I never imagined in my wildest dreams I'd ever get a chance to reconnect like this with so many people I loved so much. Like you! First of all, I was saddened to hear of your recent loss- my heart & prayers are with you. I spoke to Richie & he filled me in. I'm actually in Oyster Bay right now visiting with Larkin LaMorte, one of my 7th corps best buds who I haven't seen since 1980, & hopefully I'll be seeing Richie some time over the weekend as well. Haven't seen him since our last gig together in Atlantic City in 1982. I also got to reconnect with Paul & so many other of the most beloved people my life has ever known. Like you! Welcome aboard & enjoy. The increase has been phenomenal- when I signed on Oct 8, there were 7 people here, now there are over 500! Well honey, I love you, I've missed you & I look forward to hearing from you!

We never met, so I never got to tell you what your music meant to me. It saved my courage more times than I could tell you, back in the day. Thank you so very much for singing those songs to our hearts. I once even ran a twig of people who loved to sing, and we'd break into impromtu acapella renditions of "My Daddy Wrote Me A Letter." People actually came to twig because of the joy we had in that music - your music. Thanks. I hope that you enjoy reconnecting with folks here. Vickie
