    I've been to Michigan. I've seen icicles. Nothing beats an innertube in the Guadelupe River in the summer. Since the tubes are rented out, it's easy to take a day and go with little notice. The waters in Michigan are too cold to enjoy like that. I think the icicles are at the bottom of the lakes and rivers even during the summer. Take the time to visit and you may end up moving here.
