Hello to all, Laurie and I are currently living in the not so sunny north .We have our own business, remodeling homes,offices, and chicken coops, Jason our #1 son is in business w/ us and also here with us as we travel along lifes highway , as Pat the Handyman and Wife Laurie do the best they can in the Land of the Rusty but Trusty BUICK ! News about Pat ,Laurie and Jason ... Where to start ...? Traded our former credentials honors and accolades in for a Starbucks Coupon worth $ 1.75 and we can carry pistols there now as well ... HOT Coffee and Hot Lead . It has been a fast , few years here ... We made and lost a fortune .. Made and kept a lot of friends .... moved a few times ... Jason is in College part Time, Pat is President of a local small business assoc.. a former radio show host , and locally known for his over the top support of our USA .. Laurie is the brains behind the operation deferring to Pat only so he thinks he is( the brains) at times ( ha Ha ) Pat agrees that men are just animals that live in the house and wear clothes....( we have not evolved ) Laurie is a school bus driver ( the wheels on the bus go round and round ) has a health and wellness biz , and is active in the Fellowship we host at a Local Restaurant ( los amigos ) Jason works for the family biz "Pat the Handyman" and associates, Jason being The associate .. other than that, time and space preclude us from a lengthy tome... In the 70's while in the Military and I was intro'd to Christ I spent several years of that as a Big Kahuna in military outreach ...It was exciting I was in the miltary and in a foriegn country ....and speaking God's Word ... Ilearned that freedom has NO enemy , as man will no matter what crave it, and God always makes a way to get it .... My other inerests are The victorious Life Church here in Ypsi and Christian Family Fellowship ...www.cffm.org and finally ..... If someone was to ask you , what do you stand for or what do you believe in maybe , what would you fight for ...what would you answer ......? What is most important to you ? What principle do you abide by 1st and foremost ? What do you stand up for ? What do you consider important enough to share with others ? What do you teach your kids ? What would you fight for ? What do people see when they look at you ? What do your bring to the table ? What will you pass on to the next generation ? So sorry for my procrastination in responding! I have not visited the site in at least a month, with work & holiday preparations and my Mother visited me here in Germany. We visited the Christmas Markets in Nurnberg, Berlin & Dresden. That was exciting. So now I have a few days to catch up with everything before my trip to Dublin on the 28th to the 10th Jan. Regarding James McCormack....Brendan McCann, not sure where they are. But will inquire whren I arrive on THE ISLAND: Ruth Rott has recently joined here. I don't remember who I met over there that vacation but I do remember having a wonderful time! My greatest memory was of riding a horse in Hyde park and visiting a hospital with another believer who worked there. David was so glad to hear from you. I actually grew up in Redford Michigan Telegraph Rd and Plymouth. Got much snow yet. We have bunches already. Yikes. God Bless. Judy

Yes, it is I. Interesting regarding Valpo, I was interviewing a candidate for a job the other day whowent to Valpo Univ. from 1968 - 1973.

I hope to be able to take some time in the next couple of days to fill out more info on my page. Last evening I gave Judy a tour of the site and then she took time to set her page up.

Hi Pat,
When the poop hit the fan a lot of us got covered... I dont think it was much different on this side of the ocean. Different voice, different face, still lots of poop... as the years pass it is easier to deal with, and to realize that most people were in the poop, not throwing it! But I can understand reluctance to communicate, it often brings up memories & emotions that are just too painful to live over.

I'm a Marine Corps League member myself, though pretty inactive due to other time obligations. An old friend of mine from Virginia Beach used to take his children to the V.A. Hospital every holiday season to sit and play cards, board games, etc. with total strangers...patients, of course. It made a tremendous impact on his children, and on the vets. I may actually do that this season.
