  • Bless your heart Paddy and it is good to see you on this site.

So sad to hear about your brother and my Corps brother Mick. I had some real good times with him in residence as we were the two oldest of our Corps and saw through most of the crap.

Do you remember the day I heard you on the "Frankly Speaking" radio show? It was so cool to talk with you and the read your book. Soon after my computer crashed and I lost all my information and did not have a back up, so I lost contact with a lot people. This site has been a real blessing to get re-connected with old friends and aquaintances.

My wife Jane (Kienholz - 9t Corps) still enjoy living in NW Arkansas on five acres. We are looking forward to a ten day tour of the Holy Land in March where we will also celbrate our 25th Anniveresary. It's our first time to go there and we are pretty pumped about it. Have you ever been? If so do you have any insights you would like to pass along?

I am also involved in some writing courses at the local community college as one of my passions is writing about our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe He has given me the talent and passion for it and I want to hone it.

Please give my love to any saints there with you.
  • Hi Paddy,
And welcome back from abroad. Must have been an interesting time. And so, that message. We actually have the ability to send private messages here. If you will scroll to the top left of this page, above the big Corps photo, you will see your name. To the right of that, you will see a tiny "envelope icon", and that is your private message place. I took me a while to find it myself, and when I did, the word "new" was there also, indicating that I had unopened mail. And so, check there, and you probably will find.

  • HI, Paddy. Read your "Nephilim" book and enjoyed it. Of course, we
don't agree on every point, but I thought your research, thesis and writing were well done. A point of difference, I suppose, is the question of whether we think of the Nephilim as extra-temporal or extra-dimential. I lean toward the extra-dimential--the idea that there is an active but ordinarily unpercieved dimention (spiritual) that occasionally invades human experience. Occationally, for reasons His Own, God opens a person's understanding to percieve then unseen.

So, it's not necessary for me to think of Nephilim as existing on another planet. Even so--I still find myself looking up at the night sky, turning toward the northern stars, and chuckling!

I'm delighted to see you've found a way to keep your faith, share it, and support your family. Atta boy, Paddy!

I'm so sorry for the distruction the sociopath Chris Geer did and continues to inflict on Christians. His deliberate deciet and psychotic episodes were (are) truely chilling. But, the Lord sees and hears.

And, we did survive--thank-you God. Two things I found interesting about false prophet like Chris are: 1) They seem to be completely void of any sense of being the responsible cause of pain to other people; and, 2) The stupidity of those who continue to allow themselves to be hurt. It's difficult to understand.

Amazed to hear how well Ireland has done in the world market since I visited years ago. Real estate values sound like California in the second half of the last century.

Earlier this month I finished a Doctor of Ministry degree. I did all the academic work at Oxford and really enjoyed it. My exit project was to develope and teach definitions for the manifestations of word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and speaking in tongue that hold up through the Bible and through time (church history). It was so intresting--and exhausting. (I can imagine how you must feel after finishing a book.)

Congradulations on your honorary doctorate! Which seminary in Southern California gave it to you? Fuller? Just curious. I'm a
little familiar with several and just wondered. Anyway, atta boy!

I've often thought of you and Katherine over the years, always praying God's good for you both. Prayers for the confident faith and contentment of your hearts.

Anyway, thanks for saying "hi". Wonder to your voice, too.
Love to Katherine, and God bless. Sue.

  • Dear Paddy,

Thank you for writing. I don´t remember much of The Way Corps, but that´s probably because so much has happendéd since then. I´m trying to write my autobiography but find it difficult to discipline myself. We have 5 children and 4 are still at home plus I work part-time. I´m also writing it in German and it will have to be edited by native speakers. Any tips on motivation?

  • I'm afraid it might be worse than that - maybe the thought you were IRA? (apoligies to Brendy McCann).

Yeah, I was well acqianted with laughs from the audience. The first time I set foot on stage at Emporia I was potraying Doctor Wierwille. They lowered a window frame from the fly system and it came down crooked. Everybody laughed - except the window was behind me so I didn't know what the hell they were laughing at - I thought it was me (as VPW). I was thinking, "gee, maybe this was a bad idea". Those guys laughed at anything - remember "The Firkin"?
  • Paddy,

Great to hear from you. In that little scene you were supposed to be Secret Service protecting a United States Senator - but these days, that could still mean back-up muscle for a gangster. I remember people chuckled when you walked on, and I don't remember why, exactly. I think it was just because they knew you personally. Our audiences felt very free to express their connection with the cast. You actually did a FINE job. Don't assume you didn't. Believe it or not, you could probably do it again with some success.

As soon as I can get Ellen to find the pictures on HER computer, I'll put them on the site. I just got a new one and I can't make the connection with my old camera.

I'd love to read your book. My address is: 15 N. Walnut St. New Bremen, Ohio, U.S.A. 45869. I'm still living about five miles from Headquarters. And, as I direct the local high school's drama club, I teach some of the kids of current staff members at the way - I was friends with their parents. They are good kids. (I've been out for twenty years).

    Have a good day, sir!
  • Hi Paddy, how great to hear from you. I hear you are doing amazing things in the literal world, fantastic to have a believers influenece there. Yeah, we have a different approach to the "way" we used to do things, we have an amazing church here-long story, we are not connected to any church or splinter groups.. Some on my page about our journey-real God story!
Kathleen is married to Phil Brewer in Portland Oregon, (6 hours south of us). She does not use computers, so I will talk to her. Sure she would love to hear from you. Give my love to Catherine-some great memories of the amazing Irish!! Did you see the Irish video I posted? Scottish rugby, very sensitive subject, we do keep losing! Watched the superbowl yeasterday great game, slow rugby with protection! Keep in touch Iain
  • Hello Paddy!
I've been bouncing around this web site just looking for faces from the past and I found yours. God bless you. I remember when we first went into residence in Kipp (?) Hall and we were "privy mates". To this day I remember when you used the phrase "give us a shout". And I fondly remember all of the UK and Irish brethren in the 11th Corps (some very funny stuff, as I recall).

Ellen and I are doing well. We still live in New Bremen, OH, about five miles from old HQ. I'm an artist now, and I run the Drama Dept. at the local high school. Ellen runs an arts presentation group - we bring in shows. Do you remember when she was pregnant when we graduated? Maybe you don't, I think you guys graduated early, didn't you? Anyway, Ellen got pregnant around Christmas of our last year and we were allowed to stay in. She graduated with a 7 month belly - the first 11th Corps baby. Well, that's my daughter Carolyn, who has her Masters Degree in flute performance - talk about time flying by.

I am so pleased to see how well you are doing. I can't say that I recall anything about you being an author, but it doesn't surprise me. I have not read any of your books, but that's because I just found out twenty minutes ago. I think about the end times often, and always sit it utter amazement of world events - wondering just how it's all going to fit together. We'll have to chat about it.

One more thing. I told you years ago I was of Irish ancestry, and you said you weren't familiar with the name in Ireland. Well, I have since discovered my family geneology (someone else did all the work), and I'm sorry to say I'm English - as in all the way back to the first boat of Puritans in 1630 to America - same name and pronunciation. I was thrilled to learn of it, but a little sad to have disconnected with Ireland - oh well. I've taken up making beer, however; and I make stout all the time.

That's all for now. Give my love to Catherine, and when you get a chance, "give us a shout".

  • I have now read Apocolypse Now. That was really a great book. It really brings home the reality of Christ's return. I stayed up until 2 am reading it on a Friday night and finished it the next day. My daughter was reading parts of it to her boyfriend. What a comfort to know he will be back soon!
