  I also see that you enjoy Maupassant. When I taught composition and literature at Otterbein College here in the Columbus, Ohio area, I had my students to read and analyze "In the Moonlight" (or "Clair de Lune"). It is a wonderful short story which I discovered years ago when I was working at The Way International Headquarters. I quite providentially rediscovered the story which I first heard as it was read on a radio show from Ohio State called "In the Bookstall." When I was in graduate school, I took a French course, and we translated the work from French into English. It is a most moving literary work. If you haven't read it, check it out and let me know what you think.

  Paddy--all kidding aside. I finally finished your book last night and you definitely saved the best for last! Bo heard me saying, "Oh, wow--that makes so much sense" and wanted me to tell him all about it. I said, "no way--read it yourself. I'll not spoil the surprise!"
  
  Your conclusion on the Great Pyramid is brilliant. Thanks so much for ferreting that out and presenting it so well.
  
  I do have one thing to throw out on your end times discussion. Have you looked at Psalm 83? There is a confederation of ten nations listed as conspiring against Israel to destroy her. According to Colin Deal who wrote "Armageddon and the 21st Century" this prophecy has never been fulfilled. He believes it points to the Arab nations plotting against her today as part of Satan's end times strategy...He has worked out what country or region each entry on the list corresponds to in the modern era but I can't put my hands on that or remember exactly. Give it a look. Some are self-explanatory. Anyway, I beleive they make up the alliance that will come against Israel in the last days.
  
  I also believe that the beast has something to do with the rapid rise of global militant Islam in Europe, the US and basically around the globe. There apparently are prophecies in the Koran that parallel Bible prophecies on the rise of Antichrist and claim it will be some sort of super Mahdi who will force worlwide conversion at gunpoint. This might well fit with the claim of so many Moslems that there's is a "religion of peace." Yeah, right. Tell that to Van Gogh whose blood cries out from the streets...Anyway another thing to ponder!
  
  What fun! We'll actually be in Italy with a rabid UFO guy on a houseparty with mutual friends next June--I am definitely taking him your book. Loved it, brother--so glad we reconnected.

  Paddy--dang! I'm reading your book. And here I thought those gigundo peckers on the statues and paintings of old were just some artist's wishful thinking (as in "in your dreams!")
  
  Enjoying the read. I sure hate to think of those evil spirits being released once again on the world. I know it's in the Bible but how can people who have tasted the goodness of the Lord for a thousand years be decieved again and go for the other side--but then, as you point out in your book, the most glorious angel in heaven thoght he could overthrow Yaweh...so what can we expect?
