Reporting the sad news that Tamra Joy Beaird Mellor (WC 16) fell asleep in Christ this morning (1/26/14) in Richmond VA (breast cancer). Please pray for her two sons, Ben & Max, age 14. Christ is coming back!

Hi Myrna- no, I have not been to HQ for awhile, but not sure if Nancy Hearne is still there. "Mark and avoid" has not been practiced or encouraged for nearly a decade. Ever since Criag resigned, I guess. Personally, I don't agree with it. The Bible says "count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother". I have been in that situation where no one would talk to me, but I talk to others. I do not put on my profile that I am still with TWI, because I want to be free to talk to everyone, and some may get put off by that. It's unfortunate that the hurt still remains, but the love of God is still way bigger than that, and that is what I teach at my fellowships.

We sure love you and thank God for you. So, the Indian boys were there with you. Thank you for blessing them. We, Preet and I also Laurence Torr from Bristol, Enland have been visiting the saints in Ireland. We sure had a great time with them in this country. We will fly back to Bristol today to Laurence's home. European visit will continue till August 29th and on 30th, by then Beautrice will join me and Preet will go home.

I grew up in Rochester. Went to West Irondequoit High School. Lots of my friends were believers. Never got invited to fellowship, though. If someone would have invited me and then came to get me, I probably would have gone. I went to SU 73-77 and then came back to Roch. I got in the Word in 1978, whren Lee Kusse, a friend from HS witnessed to me. I took the class in July 78 (Freedom Class) at the Way Home on Atkinson St. I was in the East Branch, You were in the West Branch. I remember being at HQ with you our final block sorting all this stuff out together. Your coordinator was Nancy Hearne - she had the first twig in Webster. She was my Research Paper Advisor. My interim year was in Gilroy, CA. 85-86. -ever been near there?
Yes, I am still with TWI they keep throwing me out, but I keep coming back! Ha Ha! My new husband of 3 years (Jerry Kelley of RI and CT) and I coordinate a fellowship in Penfield. You may remember him from when all the NE states got together in the early 70's, too. He's been in since 74, I believe.

Hi Myrna! This networking stuff is new to me and I will post a profile and picture soon. I floated my name out there to see who would remember me. Yes, I grew up in Rochester. That's where I got in the Word, my first Corps assignment, yadda yadda yadda. I have been married for 3 years and am currently running a fellowship. I'm from Irondequoit- where my mom still lives. We live in Penfield. We have a pretty small fellowship group. We're getting tight, just like Acts 2! If you should come up to visit someday, please check us out! Are you still with TWI?

You look very blessed and your daughter is beautiful. I used to go down to see the Charlottesville gang quite a lot, not so much now that I have to work all the time.

Maybe we will cross paths at some point.

It is a prettty good school, I think...pretty prestigious. I know they have a good nursing school and a good reputation in the community as well as in the South. It's Vince Gill's alma mater and is involved in alot of the activities...

Doug and Kristin don't live near us, but we keep upwith them through our fellowships, etc.
I don't really know alot about Belmont, but it is know for the performance arts. I think there are quite a few country singers that are now doing very well and went there to school.
The school is in Nashville, and we live about 30 miles from there. We live close to MTSU, which is more liberal arts focused.

Hello Myrna. I hope to catch up with a few old friends. We live near my brother John, in TN. I live in Murfreesboro, he is in Brentwood, both near Nashville. I have been in this are since we graduated from the Corps. Married Matt Newberg in 1989, and we have twin daughters age "almost"10. I work as a nurse in a doctor's office, part-time. We fellowship regularly with a few 15th Corps folks, Cynthia Gendron, Alan Michealson, Doug and Kristin Hamilton. Take care for now. Jane
