I had forgotten about Obie's Navy career. I didn't know him that well, but thought the guy on the show might be related. Haven't heard that last name before or since being in residence. Thanks for the props on the pics. I should have had many more from the second time I went LEAD but the film got messed up. 8-( If we only had digital cameras then. I see you are in CA. After my way days were over I was in Huntington Beach for eight years. Loved it!

I don't believe we ever met. I searched this site for Obie Oberhart and found your post. Last night I watched a show on Discovery called Raging Nature, the episode was Landslides. There was an Andrew Oberhart in one of the segments. He and some other guys were rafting in Washington State and experienced a landslide. I wonder if he could be Obie's son.
California is a long way from Norfolk. I miss those days. How are you doing? I am in SC by the beach as usual and doing well.
