About Me
I am soon to be 54 feeling like 25 most of the time. I am a single parent of an 18 year old son that is like a lost ball in high weeds at times. I still love meeting old acquaitences and new ones too. I still feel like a friend is someone I haven't met yet. I am not presently involved with any Christian (traditional or non-traditional) fellowships. I still love God, His Word, and Believers. I live about 20 miles southwest of Louisville , Kentucky on a small 26 acre farm I purchased in 1989. I am listed in the Louisville white pages so if your ever passing thru feel free to stop in for a visit.
My Interests
My interests are hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, 4 wheeling, mule riding and tinkering with old antique cars & trucks.
Employment or Career
I work for a large Construction and Engineering Firm in the Louisville , Ky area. I have set an employment history record for myself, I have been with them for 17 years now. I am sort of a utility man , I do everything from operating construction equipment, hauling equipment, welding & mechanic work to jobsite supervising. And somedays just show up and look important....LOL.
Music I Like
I am basically a Country - Bluegrass type but do occassionally listen to some good old time Rock & Roll as well as some Blues.
Books I Like
I have always enjoyed reading but mostly confined to reading repair manuals on grown up kid toys (ie....boats, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, automobiles) these days. Still read the Bible alot.
Television I like
when time and weather affords the opportunity I like sports broadcasts, spaghetti westerns, news, History Channel, HGTV . And the RFDT channel
Movies I like
Old John Wayne movies or other Western flicks.
Sports Teams I like
The KENTUCKY WILDCATS of course! I like watching any type of sports events when I have the time.

How's my old hitch hiking partner?
I think I said this before but I have this clear memory of you saying during our journey to wherever we were going that TWI got a lot of free labor out of us and I got mad, but now I know you were right.
Nice to see you here as well as at Greasespot.
Do you know what I remember about you? I think I shared this with someone just the other day. At the end of my WOW year, I had very little money but needed to make it home, to New England from Ohio, and then back to Emporia for the Corps. Beatrice needed money for her WOW year, and what I had left was exactly what she needed. I knew about giving and receiving, but somehow between the three of us, I got convinced to give Bea all of my money because I was reassured that God would come through with all of the other money I needed. You guys were right. Money came out of nowhere. Somehow, I had what I needed to buy a plane ticket to get to the Corps. I've shared this with my children and they love to give! Thanks for the great lesson!
Love ya!
