About Me
I am soon to be 54 feeling like 25 most of the time. I am a single parent of an 18 year old son that is like a lost ball in high weeds at times. I still love meeting old acquaitences and new ones too. I still feel like a friend is someone I haven't met yet. I am not presently involved with any Christian (traditional or non-traditional) fellowships. I still love God, His Word, and Believers. I live about 20 miles southwest of Louisville , Kentucky on a small 26 acre farm I purchased in 1989. I am listed in the Louisville white pages so if your ever passing thru feel free to stop in for a visit.
My Interests
My interests are hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, 4 wheeling, mule riding and tinkering with old antique cars & trucks.
Employment or Career
I work for a large Construction and Engineering Firm in the Louisville , Ky area. I have set an employment history record for myself, I have been with them for 17 years now. I am sort of a utility man , I do everything from operating construction equipment, hauling equipment, welding & mechanic work to jobsite supervising. And somedays just show up and look important....LOL.
Music I Like
I am basically a Country - Bluegrass type but do occassionally listen to some good old time Rock & Roll as well as some Blues.
Books I Like
I have always enjoyed reading but mostly confined to reading repair manuals on grown up kid toys (ie....boats, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, automobiles) these days. Still read the Bible alot.
Television I like
when time and weather affords the opportunity I like sports broadcasts, spaghetti westerns, news, History Channel, HGTV . And the RFDT channel
Movies I like
Old John Wayne movies or other Western flicks.
Sports Teams I like
The KENTUCKY WILDCATS of course! I like watching any type of sports events when I have the time.

One year older, one year wiser. Happy birthday Meldon.
I think I remember. Were you part of Sea Bee Batallion 3 at Rosie Roads? I enjoyed spending time out there and fellowshiping with the Sea Bee believers. I also enjoyed hosting some of the See Bees and Navy Seals at my apartment in San Juan.
Not sure where we met. I was in the 9th Corps. I was a friend of Paul Norcross and several other believers in the military, but I didn't serve. I had several military believers in Italy when I was there on my apprentice year. Probably we met at a ROA or Corps Week. Thanks for the comments and compliments. Sounds like you are living my daughter's dream. She loves horses. Louisville looks beautiful.
God Bless,
Dick

after Seattle taxpayers paid 4 MILLION dollars to
put on a new roof the Governer (who of course
knew better even AFTER it got voted down) IMPLODED
the kingdome to put in the new Safeco flied for the
Mairners baseball team, which of course helped THEM
play better.....THEN the Seasquawks needed a new
bigger better stadium....so they too got a new one,
all this happened YEARS ago.....
Kingdome implosion was cool, the rest bunk...
the stadium is UW's stadium where they play
Huskey football (in vane this year, but in other
past years they have won, sometimes....)
