About Me
I am so thankful to still be pursuing the things of God after all these years; still thankful for the many things I learned in the ministry...and thankful to be moving on.
My two boys are off in Wisconsin and Portland, Oregon.
My Interests
Reading/biking/old junk/old houses/music/travel...adventure in general! And then back to simply walking the dog.
Employment or Career
I still do illustration work. Children's books, house portraits, mixed in with some teaching and public speaking, and a job answering medical after-hours calls.
Really, I'm still putting it all together.
Music I Like
Everything from Mozart to Johnny Cash, with many stops in the middle.
Books I Like
Jane Austen, always.
John Eldredge, Walking with God.
Annie Dillard, Pilrim at Tinker Creek
British murder mysteries from mid-20th century.
I still love children's books, I'll admit.
Television I like
American Pickers
Desert Car Kings
Turner Classic Movies.
What Not to Wear.
Movies I like
The King's Speech
A Beautiful Mind.
Good Will Hunting.
Stranger than Fiction.

Thanks for checking in. S
God bless. I still remember the beautiful artwork you did and that wonderful piece on the trees in the Way Woods I had asked for.
You are God's best and I will be praying or your family.
Love in Christ,
CH Rix
Do you have a website or anywhere to see your illustrations? You can see my work at www.carolsheart.com

I do remember Joshua, but am powerless to imagine ANY of our children at the advanced age of 16--never mind that mine are 24 and 22, respectively (Jimmy/Robbie).
Your favorite books and movies are ones I've never heard of, and that interests me. What paths of study are you exploring?
I've dipped deeply into the subject of Intelligent Design, and then a lot of the odd, the random, the historical and hard-to-classify.
It's true--if you're not growing, you're dying!
Love to Debbie, too...
Mary
Great to see you here on the site. Doesn't seem so long ago that we visited you in St. Mary's but I guess it has been a number of years.
I think you met our son Josh when he was small. He just turned 16. Tall, slim dude.
I've always enjoyed your friendship, your encouragement, your humor.
All the best.
Gerard
I hope you are well, and continue to thrive!
So great to hear from you. Sorry about the divorce piece. I know that must be difficult. But your boys sound so great! I hope you are doing well. Jean sends her love.
Love,
Kathy
