About Me

It's nice to see so many familiar faces from such a special place in time... I moved to Hawaii in 1989 with my sister, thinking it would only be for a short time but it has become difficult to leave this beautiful place. I got married in 1995. (A little slow to the altar I guess:) My husband is a great guy...met him at the Rock...Ha!! We just had our first baby (July 2007) which was a miracle to say the least, and we are thrilled beyond words....a sweet little baby girl, Alana Nicole. Life here in the islands is something else. We absolutely love it. Since we have so many friends and family back East, we try and make it a point to go back often, at least once or twice a year. The believers here are as sweet as ever, so it's easy to want to stay here forever. And since my husband is a surfer I don't think we'll ever leave.....It's a nice place to raise a baby. The years I spent in The Way were some of the best years of my life, and I have no regrets. I made the best of friends during those days and they are still in my life. I'm thankful for the good memories....and for all that I learned through the many experiences...it was great.

My Interests

Of course God and His Word first and foremost, and being with others who feel the same. I love oil painting. I've taken alot of art classes here, from drawing, to ceramics, to painting, but my love is painting. I also love to snow ski even though you don't get much of that here...Ha!! We just make it a point to go in the winter when we can. It's an easy flight from here to get to Whistler. I also love the beach....go figure...

Employment or Career

At this moment in time I am a stay-at-home mom and loving every minute of it. Up until I had my baby, I was running a Daycare.

I like novels and educational books

Television I like

Not much time for TV in Hawaii, but I'm a sucker for the late night shows, and still watching Seinfeld re-runs.

Drama and Comedy mostly

Sports Teams I like

Since I'm from the Burg, I'd have to say the Steelers

When Yvette & I graduated, our assignment was Chicago & northside of the city branch. Yvette was the "maid of honor", I was the "matron saint of gigilos" @ one of the believers wedding. I believe it was circa 1985, nice hat on Yvette, HUH! Oh yea! I called one of the "local boys"(Hawaii guy living in Chicago) & told him where we're staying he said shakka bra , my brodda works @ "Dukes", "you be sure to go there & look him up". Lisa tell your "dreamy husband" we gonna go out one nite. I'll show you how to dance as I did all "the ladies" @ that wedding. God! I wish MoMo would come!!

nope, he wasnt in Iraq. He requested to be sent but is in support. IS in avionics. Loves the Corps. Wants to get his eduacation and maybe even stay in 20. A little girl at 50. Wow. by the way, you dont at all look 50. Tell Moira I said hi. Tell her Tina said i was going to be in charge of the next climb and she better get her shit together.
