God bless you.

I've also heard from Tom but to date only via this site and email. If you recall he lived with us for a time when we were on L.I.

As for dogs, the Iditadog is what is known as an "Alaskan husky." They are mixed breeds (mutts) and no longer look much like a Siberian Husky (true pure blooded husky) much less an Alaskan Malamute. The Iditarod dog weighs 40-55 lbs. An…"

"Hi Dick:

Yes, the Iditarod requires very a serious commitment. Plus, there are numerous other races that one must compete in before they can compete. After the initial prerequisites are completed the musher can then sign on and is considered a…"

  • Hello Linus and Susie,
I really enjoyed hearing about how you ended up in Alaska.
Wow - what a life that the Father had for you from New York
to Alaska. I have not been there yet but hope to do at least
a cruise some time when the budget allows.

My life has always had an east /west connection with Ray from
Garden City, NY and Bobby, my new husband from Middletown,
    CT.

Ray and I lived most of our lives in CA. Most of my family are believers and we continued fellowshipping throughout our lives in
a home fellowship situation with SF Bay Area believers. We actually left the ministry when our assignment was taken away
    in 1987.

Our family and life was always very blessed though. I know Ray
always missed seeing more of the believers and the Corps.
He is missed and surely made an impact on many lives.
    God bless you. Jeannie C.
  • Glad it blessed you so much. Hebrews is VERY cool now that I got over the hump, thanks!

    Love,
    J
  • So great to receive your message and your thoughts on Ray....he was one-of-a-kind....He definitely made an impact on people in his quiet, low key sort of style. He was very cool and I miss him so but have the return to see him again and I rejoice and am comforted by that truth....Our family lived in California from 1982 until this summer when I moved east to Connecticut not too far from where Ray began his own life in New York. We have always had an east/west connection. Linus, I love the pictures of Alaska....have never been there but am sure my husband, Bob Wasicki (who by the way got me into the word) will some day take me there. I see all the snow and now that I live in Connecticut where there is snow I see that you and your family are abounding so I can do all things here also...I am a bit hesitant about the snow and the changes....Ray and I have one daughter - her name is Julia - she is in college studying music education at San Jose State -a wonderful believer very much like her dad...
And I need to hear the story as to how you and Susie landed in Alaska....Jeannie
  • Dear Linus:

God bless you. Dorothy and I were happy to hear from you. We are doing fine. We have two sons David (22) and Jonathan (19). They are both out of the home. David works in Washington DC and Jonathan goes to the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Dorothy has her own business as a voice and piano teacher and I have a one man law practice. Both of us work out of our home.

Say hi to the family for us.

    Nolan and Dorothy
  • Hi sir, good to hear from you.

I've been needing to contact you about moving to Alaska. Probably sometime next summer my family and I will be moving to Alaska. We are looking at land in the Palmer area.

I'll let you know what's going on as things materialize.

In the mean time we'll spend one more cold winter in Minnesota.

    David

  • Hey Linus! It sure was good to hear from you. You and Susie look great. A tidalwave of memories and all good ones! Alaska!! It's still too hard for me to conceive. You're pictures look great. Who shovels all that snow? Or do you just wait 'til August. Man, I have a million questions. Is young Linus and his family living close by? We still fellowship here in Northport. Our Father has blessed us daily and richly. I'm thankful for so much. As soon as I figure out how to get pictures out I'll post them. This site is still new to me, and I can pretty well figure how to get info out of these computers, but I don't have a great handle on getting info into them to pass on to others. It was really good just to hear from you. God bless!
  • yes sir.
