"Hey there Lester, so good to hear from you.
WOW a grandfather! Congratulations! Notwithstanding, this is making me feel old, but who among us can hold back time? By the way, you have a beautiful family and clearly you have become an awesome man even…"
"Alaska is pricey too, in fact in the dictionary next to the word pricey is a photo of Alaska. Back in the early 80's when we went to Fairbanks we found the prices to shame even Manhattan, which is a notoriously expensive place to live. For example,…"
As for dogs, the Iditadog is what is known as an "Alaskan husky." They are mixed breeds (mutts) and no longer look much like a Siberian Husky (true pure blooded husky) much less an Alaskan Malamute. The Iditarod dog weighs 40-55 lbs. An…"
Yes, the Iditarod requires very a serious commitment. Plus, there are numerous other races that one must compete in before they can compete. After the initial prerequisites are completed the musher can then sign on and is considered a…"
nice photos Linus. I was in Juneau in 1980. Lovely state. We got hit with record snow falls here in Maine, 200 inches this winter, now we are dealing with flooding. Thanks for sharing those photo. I hear the call of the north.haha, my wife hears nothing though.
God bless you Brother! Nice to see the photos of you and your Fam. We finally have spring coming on down here in Juneau, and it is way welcome. However, a massive avalanche took out three power towers that brings us electricity from our hydro electric source up in the mountains south of town, so now we are really watching our electric use because we have been warned that our electric bills will now be five times higher because we are now using diesel generated electricity. Oh boy..
And so, have a nice springtime and love to Sue and the dogs. Nice to see the pictures of you and Boaz too...
Linus, I've been looking at the profiles and comments of people who know you here and there ... WOW you're famous !!!:) and VERY LOVED. It is so wild to know there are people "out there" that know my mommy! She will be 92 on Wednesday 4/23, and my younger daughter, Danielle (20) and I will be visiting her in the nursing home where she lives near by brother in Hayward California on 4/24 and 4/25! So, I'll let you know more when I get back home. I saw her last summer, and she did not remember much -- except me and Jesus! I think she'll remember Danielle -- at least I hope so. She did not remember my older daughter, Joanna (22) and that made Joanna cry, even though she thought she could handle it. I am sad to know Rose is no longer here to brighten up the lives of anyone and everyone she knew, but I am so very thankful we will be together for all eternity because of our Lord Jesus Christ and our great God. Thank you for writing back to me, and for being faithful - faithful to the end.
Good to know your still holding forth Gods Word. We have fond memories of you and Sue and the times we spend together in NY. You guys are in our prayers often. Love to all
