Currently, I am teaching 6th grade students at Pinewood Middle School here in Michigan. The last few years I taught at the High School level. My husband Paul and I run a fellowship in our home. We have three children, 2 boys and a girl, who are all in their twenties. Our youngest lives with us.

It is rare that I find myself speechless. I was honored to know her in the Corps. She had a heart of gold for God! This news stings my heart deeply. I have no doubt she will have crowns at the return. I will continue to pray for her family.

ANDERSON, KATHLEEN "KAS" Kathleen "Kas" Anderson, aged 59, fell asleep on Friday, June 1, 2012 and is awaiting the return of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve (Jean) Mancini, father-in-law, Richard Anderson and mother-in-law, Fran Steele. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Paul; her children, Michael and Sarah An...derson, Lisa and Nick DeVries, Marc Anderson; grandchildren, Brennen DeVries, Mason Anderson, and one on the way; her father, Angelo Mancini; step mother-in-law, Jeanne Anderson; five siblings and their spouses; many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Kas was known for her passion for living life, serving others, teaching and learning. The love of God fueled the compassion which was evident to all she knew and her legacy will be how she served others, honored God and dynamically impacted all the lives she touched including the many children who benefited from her special ability to love them into learning. A Memorial Service for Kathleen will be held Saturday, June 16th at 2 pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE. Donations can be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
So great to hear from you. I'm so excited you went home to philly! I'm going in May for my sister stella's oldest's wedding. Can't wait!! I havent been down the shore for memorial weekend in 25 years!!! God is so great! Mom is 86 and is still going strong, I'll tell her I heard from you, she loves you a lot!! Can't believe your dad is 80! Are you going to the weekend in Georgia in June?? I'd love to see you, i miss you!!

I've just recently found my way here and Frank Abissi told me you are near neighbors in Michigan.
I've been in Winston-Salem the past 20 years and am remarried to a wonderful man. My older kids are in their late 20's, and my husband and I have a lovely daughter who will be 12 on Valentine's Day. My older daughter has a baby of her own now -- our grandson who will be 2 in May.
I went back to finish college and did graduate work in English. I've been tutoring here for the past 14 years and love it.
