FYI, I was in St. Louis last weekend for a class on Forgiveness.
I don't know if Richard will remember me. I was married at the time to Julie. When we embarked on our 4:30 am runs, I would take off near the front with Richard with a cigarette. After January, when we ran, I would start coughing like I was dying.... it was an act. People would look at me like "OMG He's gonna die!"
The 10th Corps was the best year of my life! It gave me direction and purpose. Most of all, I learned to stand. 14th Corps was a disappointment in comparison. But I was committed to get through the program. Please tell Richard I still love him and Linda for the great care they showed us. It was the year of the Renewed Mind. "I DON'T CARE" and "You don't like it???? TOUGH!" still rings through my ears.
Also, thank you for being around during that year. The 8th Corps were awesome examples of the renewed mind love and giving.
Most of all, THANKS to you both!!!! (check my profile, it may make you laugh or at least smile)
