  Hi Judy, yeah that was but one of the great stories we had from that experience. Remember we said we wanted to ride in a cement truck and within minutes one pulled up and gave us a ride. it was only a short ride, a few miles, but we got our wish. God certainly did take care of us and he will always care for us. We just have to keep our faith in him and know that he is there for us. It was nice to hear from you. i certainly is good to reconnect with people. The Corps was a unique experience and unless someone was there they cannot really understand or relate to the uniqueness of it. You had to be there to believe it. So i think those of us who were there will always have a need for that connection at times. Just thinking back on our experience with LEAD and what we accomplished has reminded me a lot about Gods love,his kindness and how he comes through for us when we walk out on faith and trust Him. Sure we put our thumbs out but I know that we were blessed a lot on that trip. We really never had a hardship along the way. It was certainly nice hearing from you. Let's keep in toucch.

  Hi Judy, how are you. Remember we were partners for LEAD our first year. I always remember that Sunday night in Amarillo. There were 200 trucks parked and I was sure we would not get a ride. But you said we needed to go sit by the on ramp and wait. I wanted to roll out our bags and crash till morning. But we went with you instinct and within minutes a truck rolled up and gave us a ride all the way to Kansas and gave us money for breakfast. That had to be revelation on your part. On the way out we had a ride from a sheriff and a cement truck and a bunch of others. Quite the journey.
  Sure hope you are doing well. It was nice to see some familar names again. it has been a long time indeed. I think we both were in Gunnison that year as well.

  Hey Judy-
  I have not read Wild @ Heart but I will...I gave it to all the guys @ our fellowship....My favorite of Salvador is Shine, Waterfall, You Are So Wonderful, Always a Whisper...I love the whole cd ...I can't help myself....it just ministers to me, I dance to it in the mornings, my family just humors me and gets out the way and the living room floor becomes all mine :)
  Do you watch James and Betty Robison? John & Staci visit them quite a bit...we learned alot from them. Time for supper...Take Care and God Bless!!

  What is up??? I am so wow'd @ the connections .......I've read "Captivating" also, I love this couple (John & Stasi)..they are adventurous are'nt they. I just stumbled across this site the other night when I had a thought to check out the believers link...my WOW brother from 1982 sent me an email so I figured.... let me see if there's an update on some folks I'd like to connect with....I can't even tell you how I got here :)))
  I want to add some of my praise and worship music .....do you know Salvador, they were here In Jan. Awesome guys!
  I tell you, there is some christian music that is just like a "healing" bomb. At our fellowship, we have dedicated the third Wed. of every month to prayer for our nation, families the elections, and the list goes on, we specfically pray for our youth...such a need for ministering there...I'm so proud of you, you get it.   It's great to hear that you and you kids are doing so well. We have a house a couple of towns west of our old place on Forest Ave. I still have that photo album you made for us when Matt was born, filled with baby pictures!
  
  I'm doing the soccer mom thing, and help quite a bit with Matt's Boy Scout troop. I was a substitute teacher while the boys were in grade school, but gave it up when schedules got too crazy.
