  • Hi Judy! God bless you too. Karen and I are fine. As usual, you mostly see the passing of the years in the changes in the kids. Hard to believe Danny and Hope's ages until you realize that Matt is 15 and Dan 12 now. I'm not doing a very good job of getting our picture uploaded so that it fits in the space provided but if I can figure it out, you'll see that Matthew has passed Karen in height and is rapidly catching up to me (not that I was that tall, anyway). Anyway, we're still here serving the fellowships in New Jersey, growing and learning all the time.

Thanks for taking the time to write!
    Love you,
    Bob
  • Hi Judy. Bless you
Those are kind and warm words Judy. I appreciate them.. I prayed for you since I read you are raising a child by yourself. Didn't you marry a 15th Corps fellow?...Craig...wasn't that his name? There was a guy by that name who came from 14th Corps? Is that him? The first time I saw your posting I wanted to say how sorry I felt that your marriage didn't work, but I felt it wasn't any of my business.
Your kind words sort of gave me the strength to utter these words. We are family...Latins, 15th Corps, sister in Christ and a very good friend...at least you are to me. I don't go to Texas very often, but if I ever do, I'd drop in on you, with previous advice or warning of course Same for you, if you ever come to Florida, I'd be very hurt if you didn't stop in to see us if you ever come to the Sunshine state.. Diane and I love you very much. We'll take good care of you. Send me a picture of you and your kids via email. You are a beautiful woman since Emporia. Let me see you haven't aged nor changed. I have though.
    Love you,
    Roberto
  • Regarding training and classes, Judy, you could check out the cffm.org website. Their classes are taught by various teachers: John Shroyer, Wayne Clapp, Chuck Deitlin, Jon Nessle, etc. and have proven helpful in our home fellowship. Also, they have a training program called Fellowlabourers. Mostly young adults participate, but it is a year by year program, and I've seen some really wonderful things in some youth's lives. Love, Donna Jo - if you have questions: dembidj@gmail.com
  • Hi Judy,
I just read your comment from Oct. on the 15th Corps group and wanted to reply to it. My husband Mike (16th corps) teaches a class on Your New Life in Christ which focuses on what we have as a result of Christ's accomplished works on our behalf. You can check out our simple web site and see if you like the teachings. Mike has various teachings on CD's plus he does travel and teaches this class. He is thinking about coming out to Texas some time. Is El Paso near Porter, Texas??? I think that is the area he is going to teach in/near. Anyway, here is the web address: www.tgocm.org . This stands for The Grace of Christ Ministries. And my personal email address is seatedinchrist@gmail.com. You can use this email address to respond to this message.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
    Love and grace,
    Kathy

  • Oh Judy why didn't u post a picture of your beautiful self? Do not deprive us of that privilege.
I responded to your post to me much earlier, as soon as I read your note as a matter of fact, but did not know I was supposed to click below on "Add Comment." that's why my comment to you was not posted on your page. Sorry for the delayed response. It was great reading your note.
    Here's a bit about Diane & I.
    We have three children:
Tamika Maria 18 a froshman at Florida Gulf Coast University, psychology major GPA 3.8 and beautiful like her mother, but my brains LOL. She was a color guard in high school and took dancing lessons and became quite good at it. She danced a ballet solo…you know... on her tows, in a show put on by her music teacher along with the other dancde students. Obviously, I was very impressed and very blessed. I proudly told my neighbors sitting next to me in that theater that that beautiful girl dancing is MY DAUGHTER.
Corban Roberto 16 a jr in hs, honors roll consecutively, self taught guitarist and doing a concert later this morning 12/09 in Orlando. He will seek a law degree and plans to play guitar as a hobby. Would enter Julliard if accepted, but not a priority. He played a solo in a show at his hs. I was very impressed and blessed to say the least. I proudly told my neighbors sitting next to me that that handsome young man playing that 12-string guitar is MY SON.
Landon Bernard 14 a 7th grader and also honors student, a drummer, not self taught though, he’s taking lessons from a Julliard grad and plans to play drums in the high school band in 2 yrs. At that time I will say to my neighbors sitting next to me in that theater that that handsome young fellow playing those drums is MY SON.
My boys get their musical aptitude probably from their aunt, Diane’s sister who sings for Diane and I are great dancers of all Latin music and disco at best, not musicians. I used to spin records in a discoteque in NYC before I took PFAL in 1980.
I travel to Miami and Sunrise, FL once a month or when I can to teach and minister. Diane and I run a fellowship and I travel once a year to Venezuela to teach and minister there as well.
My email is in my profile, if you'd like to email me. My cell is 727 244 2934 if you'd want to call me. POST A PICTURE PLEASE.
    I luv u,
    Roberto.
