"Dahni...didn't you read what Mom said: ... peanuts ... not almonds (just kidding)

"Hey David...not so much into CW anymore...I appreciate the pleasant memories as well...some reunions may have to wait for the gathering. But so far, life is still sweet here.
Take Care Bro."

"It would be a hoot. I'll be here and would enjoy any of our guys company.
A lot of water under the bridge...but I seek only edification of the brethren...if you catch my meaning...Ephesians 4:29 style."
You may not remember me, but I remember you and I'm grateful to our Father for the crossing of our lives. You were such a wonderful neighbor in New Knoxville. Hated to see you go, though the Stroms moving in was also a wonderful blessing. Thanks for that. This is my first time on this site, though Jack has told me about it. Today is Jack's Birthday! He is a youthful 59! We won't say what that makes me. We are so tremendously blessed here in Pace, Florida. Our boys will be coming in for Christmas, so, as you might imagine, life is very active right now in a wonderful decorative sort of way.
It was so wonderful to see you on this site! I truly enjoyed my time in the Corps with you both. Jack and I need to get a scanner so we can get some pictures on the web. I've told Jack, but we rarely shop in the electronics department. Our oldest son, Johnny Ray, only recently convinced Jack to get a cell phone!
Speaking of Johnny Ray; he is married almost 6 years and in the Navy 6 1/2. He married his high school sweetheart. They have blessed us with our first grandson, Johnathon Riley who is now 16 months and our second, Joseph Ray, is on the way. Our youngest son, Jake is in California with his Uncle Jim learning to work on Jaguars in Jim's shop and attending auto mechanics school. Jake is 22 and Johnny Ray is 25 as is Lisa, his wife. What blessings God has bestowed upon us!
A few years back, Jack talked me into taking up golf by buying me a set of clubs for Father's Day, so that has become our recreational activity together. We are abundantly blessed and would love to have you come visit and stay with us here in Pace anytime. Lonnie Nelson (8th Corps), his wife, Vicki (9th Corp?) and son, Sam, were just through.
Well, that's a little about usl. We love God and continue to coordinate a fellowship in Crestview with some wonderful believers, including the parents of Jane Stokes,10th Corp: Howard and Arlene Stokes. What an inspiration they are.
I'm sure you will get another bike, it's like a fever some times that you gotta have. Aanyway, I'm about 20 tattoos later, sorta caught that bug. Have a good friend that owns a shop and is world known (been in alot of the rags).
It was years ago...1971, I think you had run away from home (old Wichita) ... you were a family friend even before the ministry, (then you were a Densmore...no doubt I screwed up the spelling)) in fact you were the life guard at the pool in Westlink...durn Deb, if you don't remember me by now...and those are my two kids...Lizi (19) and Sean (17)
I have always Loved you Debbie
Jon
Jon, Do you still ride (a Harley, that is). I just got a XL 1200 Custom a couple months ago. Remember our tattoo trip to Columbus, Oh.? Man, that brings back some memories.
Dang, Jon, sure I love you. Always have & always will. You were a faithful friend. I mean, how many guys can you sit with for an hour without a word, except perhaps the occasional burp, while listening to old cowboy songs? Thanks for the memories.
Hey Gail...yeah, well lots of escaping going on these days...I get to work in cinematography these days...I make dirty movies...sorry old joke...I run an inspection camera in the storm and wastewater collection system here in Irving and coordinate it's maintence and repair, in some respects.
Glad you are happy and healthy!
Mine are Sean (17) and Elizabeth (19)

I have been here since my ETS in 1992...worked for Irving since 1993, so my address was public information. I got off my reserve committment in 2000, I still train, but as a civilian. If I ever come your way...I'll call you 1st.

IThanks for the kind words Meldon...I did 4 years in the Army and another 12 in the reserve...now I work for the city of Irving TX. Nothing spectacular, just making a living and helping folks.
I appreciate the invitation...maybe someday. Right now I have a hard time getting away from my obligations.
Love ya bro.
Jon
Hey Jon, God Bless. Great to see your smiling face, wonderful looking children you got there. I will always remember our camping days in the little trailer in the woods at Hdqtrs. You being my elder corps brother and all the wisdom and insight you shared with me on the perils of camping. I see your into shooting sports, ya gotta come visit sometime. I have plenty of places to hunt, fish and shoot all ya want. I am 2 miles from Fort Knox boundary and home of the Knob Creek Gun Range. It sure is good to see you here, enjoy! I'll drop ya an email later. Meldon
