    Hey John; I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Every day of 2009 has been good for me. I enjoy doing business quite a bit; God prepped me, over time, for a "rely on Him, keep your pride out of it" way of thinking with business and as a result He gets to do what He wants and I get to enjoy it. I'm candid about what I'm doing, and I see multifaceted blessings, as things with God are -when fear or pride isn't running things. Pride definitely goes before a fall :) And we all had to trust God, without fear, for WOW jobs, tuition, etc., back in the day, so that's habit. Of course not all areas of life are as smooth but having nothing to prove is a mid-life awarenes I very much enjoy. We all fall short...mind-as-well believe it; there's no perfection in the flesh. Except for my husband, he's just about perfect. How are you and yours? Love ya, Deb

    JAL, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your offer to email the syllabus, etc. to me. My email is: christinme@cox.net In that email, let me know cost too. But, I am interested in knowing, when, in Indiana, is the next time you will teach it live? I would love for Austin, my son, to sit through it and experience the "unique JAL humor!" It's one of a kind!! He's weird like you and will love your way of "seeing" things. IN FACT!--- I'd love to sit through it to audit it (even though I don't need to) just to once again experience the joy of "JAL humor & wit!" Heck! If you give me enough notice on the Indiana location, I may work on getting some parents together and all of us taking our kids to sit through your class or maybe you can come here and teach it. How many kids would I need to have in total to make it worth your while?! I work at a high school and we may even be able to use one of our classrooms on a weekend, but you must give me a few months' notice and different dates to try to coordinate it all. The school where I work is a college prep high school but for low-income families of all faiths and backgrounds. Let me know... Also, a VERY belated congratulations on the beautiful daughter you brought up who's successful in more ways than one. (I always remember when you'd have her join you at lunch and all she'd do is roll her eyes at you. She was, after all, a teenager, when I was in the WC.) I have a college freshman daughter at Iowa State, Victoria, and she believed Matt. 4:4: "....It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God," the first time she read it. She is SO faithful in reading God's Word everyday. She believes it b/c God said it in His Word and that's that!! Well...thanks for the reply John, and I look forward to hearing from you again.

    How does one find pertinent information for signing up one's own h.s. child to take your sat prep course, i.e. when & where the course will be given throughout the year? Is it available during the Summer? cost? I have a 16 year-old son, who, I believe, would benefit from taking your course. I've been looking for something like this for him, and I believe I can trust you. Thanks for the info (saw you on myspace), and am glad to see you on this site!
