  John-- greatto hear from you and to know you are in the Big Apple. I dont get there too much, though I do enjoy it. I have good memories of you too-- particularly as you were the one (seated in the back of a theatre in Elmsford)who got me to consider following thru on my Corps acceptance; glad I did. And glad I knew when to exit right.... We would very much like to see you if you come this way again, and are sorry we missed you in October. Where were you in MA?? Let us know if you do come this way!

  Hey John, I am learning how to talk again by using my lung and not my diaphragm. Sounds like a Mentally unsound Wildebeest but at least wordsa re coming out.
  I'm asking if you would kep my learning this in your prayers. I have always found comfort in knowing that if you say you will pray for something you will do it.

  I went to an Episcopal Church in NJ every Sunday (I really don’t remember ever missing a Sunday) from the age of 7 (1954) to age 19. Then I went into the Air Force and stopped attending any church. All those years I was an altar boy and attended Sunday School at 9AM, the church service at 11AM and Young Peoples Fellowship at 6 on Sunday nights. Yet with all of that I never heard John 10:10 until I sat in the first session of Power For Abundant Living one day after my 31st birthday on May 15, 1978. I was joyful at finally learning the source of the abundant life and angry at the church that never taught me that. By then I had become an expert on all of the areas that did not provide an abundant life and here was the answer in one verse of scripture.
  
  Probably the first aspect I considered about the abundant life was wealth and boy had I found out what a lie that was. I worked very hard for seven years to get myself into the position of being able to acquire wealth. I was a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange in the World Trade Center. Sitting in the brokers lounge, with all of its privileges and opulence, I remember saying “God there has to more to life than this”. It had cost me my family and I had lost all respect for myself and the people around me. Well one week later I was sitting in a loft on Bleeker St. in Greenwich Village listening to the first session. I had found the Word and the love of God being manifested by the believers. The believers were very important because they lived what was being taught in the class and fellowships and were great examples. Remember the term “undershepherding”? Was it one word or two?
  
  There were 3 things you said to me over the next year that made A difference in my life. When I was first introduced to you that summer at the Limb Meeting as a trader from Wall St., and I was feeling pretty full of myself, you asked…”and what have you done for God ?”. That made me realize I had to change my priorities. Then you spent some time with me on the trading floor and your example showed me how a real leader served people. A year later after I had lived in Harlem with 2 other believers who went into residence you talked to me about why I was living there and I made a change.
  
  So here I am today and I am still endeavoring to not be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind to prove that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
  
  So this is just a note to say Thanks and I also am one who is thankful for everyone that sat through that teaching.

  i thought the shirt was a bit distracting myself. and if you re-do the video, you can pull the camera back a bit, so your hands don't keep getting chopped off! (hey, i'm in advertising; i do this stuff for a living.)

  I just saw on your my space that you are 64 years old!!! dang, I thought you were only a couple years older than me (23 on a good day, 51 on a regular day) Perhaps we can do the 12 minute test again as if I remember right I did earn the right to call you DAD once. By the way . the Happiest of Birthdays to you. is your AARP card and dues paid up? Love to you and all of yours
