About Me
Lived in England from '72 through '76. Moved the word there working with Robert Wilkinson and others. I am here to reconnect with people in my past and to find new friends. :-)
Faith is a personal thing for me. I enjoy people, including strangers and others who are not of the same mind set or view.
God bless!

The Happy Angel Band ;-) just kidding - I do like classical music, especially my wife's music. http://annalior.com
The Happy Angel Band was a spontaneous precursor to the band Joyful Noise. Dean Ellenwood, Ken ?, Karla Anderson, Chris ?, and a few others were in this group in Columbus, Ohio.

The Word, of course! and then others like Wholeness and the Implicate Order - David Bohm and so many other books.
They all helped me to think with my heart and feel with my head.

I don't watch TV - don't own such a thing.
Movies I like
My Dinner with Andre and the Matrix series, to name only a few . . .
Sports Teams I like

I see Mimi has offered you Robert and Barbara's address.
That's great. I've sent 3 emails John...they usually reply so promptly...it's a problem with the email server I'm sure.
Sorry I couldn't help you better. God bless.
Alison
Yes, Rober and Barbara Wilkinson live near us. How can I help you? Do you want their address?
Mimi

God Bless!
Alison
I am in touch with Robert and Barbara Wilkinson.
Would you like their address?

Liz :-)
David Thomas has sandy blonde hair, and was the branch leader in Manchester when I got involved in 1976. He was a phenomenal pastor of God's people. if someone was on their own on a Saturday night, chances are they would receive a call from Dave inviting them over to his place for a time of singing and sharing. Lovely, lovely man.
Dave was also much more than an occasional member of Agape - he was a beloved permanent fixture :-) After Don MacMillan went into the 8th corps, Agape lost Don and Marji (when she married Colin and moved), but then grew to 10 regular members (all pictured on the album cover) - David Bailey, Henrik & Val Linnemann, David & Ruth Thomas, Alison Smith, Cathy Capewell, John Alton, Mark Anderson - and me! (If you knew Karen [Anderson] Moorhead, Mark is Karen's brother.) We were quite a team!

I am sorry, but I don't remember Katy. I do hope you find her, and it does sound as though God is putting her on your heart. The only Colin I knew back then was Colin Boardman. (He was married to Marjie Eastman at the time whose sister Ruth was married to David Thomas).
I saw Robert Wilkinson a couple of years back at a wedding in PA. The daughter of a close friend of mine married a guy whose sister is married to one of the Finnegan clan. Vince and Mimi were at the wedding, as were Robert and Barbara. It was wonderful to see them. They have been fellowshipping with Vince for some time (in Albany, NY), but I do know that Barbara missed England. Vince could probably put you in touch with them. :-)

I am increasingly aware God's goodness, grace and mercy. It is a blessing to hear from folks on this site. It reminds of how multifaceted God is and to pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ.
So ... where did Knox County Band fit in??
Love you!
