  • God bless you Tina- what a joy to hear from you! I am sure you are the prettiest grandma in Florida- what a trip. I remarried last November, and have a bonus grandson. Now, that is the way to go, spoil them and then hand them back. My kids still remain unmarried, even though they all have girl and boy friends, so I look forward to that part of life. I just got back from NM, Mom is well,, Fount fell asleep last November however. She will move to WA to be with us this fall. We did a session in the Forest, up to Sunset Peak, and climbing the big crags on the high country, it was wonderful as usual. God is good to us, in spite of ourselves at times- and we learn as we go. (How's that for a vague outline of 20 plus years of catching up?) Love to Jack, and to you. You live forever in my memory as young jocks, running to serve up and down mountains with smiles. Hope that is how it turned out.
    Love you! Steve A.
  • Right back at you. I love this time off. I get to gradually work myself back into the swing of work and I have additional time in the Word each and every day.

I love you Shari Sue! You are absolutely God's best friend for me right now. I love having the privilege of observing your walk with God. Thanks.

    Your Sis,

    Tina
  • Hi Tina,
I know we just talked on the phone, but I was on here and thought to say I love you again. Can't wait to see you on Thursday.
    Your my sis!!
    Shari Sue
  • Hi Tina,
Nice to hear from you. I just met Jake at a fellowship by the bay on Sunday. He seems like a great guy. I'm looking forward to getting to know him better-- my nephew Blake just moved into the home where he lives so I'm sure I'll be seeing more of Jake.
Hope to see you and Jack in San Diego some time. Michael & I live close to the Barnharts-- I know they'd enjoy seeing you again, too.
    Love & blessings,
    Trish
  • Hi Tina, Such great news - a new grandson. I see a pattern in the names...aren't I quick! What happens if they ever have a daughter? And really great news about Jake being in a 'Way' home. That must be a real answer to prayer.
Janelle had a successful first year - an adjustment, no doubt, but she came out on top - different culture for the New England born and bred!
Bo has one more year in mech eng at UConn - he's working in that area this summer. And Victoria just moved to Mumbai, India, following her boyfriend and enjoying her youth. She's our adventurous daughter.

Have fun in San Diego. Love to you both, Barrie
  • Hi guys we just returned from a fellowship at the bay where we met your son Jake. What a great young man. We had heard that he moved here a couple of weeks ago but had not met him yet. It was great to get to see him he sure is a tall one. He really seems very sweet and we are looking forward to getting to know him better. We see the Smiths once in awhile, not as much as we would like but they live about an hour north of us and run a fellowship up there. We have a really wonderful group of believers here in SD that we fellowship with and it is such a blessing to be apart of God's family. We have about 8-9 fellowships in SD area and we do stuff together with each other. It's wonderful to hear from you all, if you come visit your son and need a place to stay we have an extra room that's available and would be super blessed to have you here. We live about 8 mins. from his place. We know most of the young adults he is living with
and they are really nice and excited about moving the Word....reminds me of others not soooo long ago hahaha. Let's stay in touch and if you come visit let us know. God bless you both
  • Hi Tina,
You're the first message I have returned. I hope I'm doing it right! Nice to hear from you. We are all well. Victoria is living in Mumbai, India; Bo in his last year at UConn; Janelle enjoying Clemson. Don't you have another grandchild now?
    Give Jack our love!

    Love you,
    Barrie
  • Hi Jack & Tina: I called Andrew right after I read your message. He's great...he graduated and then went on to study Chinese...lived in China for 9 months. He lives and works in Boston now...and sends you his love. Good to get the latest on the boys.
  • Thank you so much for your message. I haven't been reading much here for a bit, so was pleasantly surprised to get your note. I haven't written before, because I thought it a bit presumptive to assume that you guys would remember me after all these years.
I cannot begin to tell you what a huge impact you and Jack both had on my life in-res. You certainly enriched my life in so many ways, and in Jack's case was literally a life-saver (brrrr).
my email is pjkelly52@aol.com. I also have a web site that I add pics to every so often... irishrosephotography.com

    My love to you both,
