About Me

I did finally finish the corps, but with the 17th corps, graduating with my brother who is still with the Way and still Way Corps in the eyes of the organization. I started college with the intention of studying Nuclear Engineering. Accelerated Transmutation of Waste was my interest. Maybe I will blog a little about that later. But I knew I would eventually have to transfer to K-State and working full time with children established in schools I realized I couldn't uproot them or my work for my education and decided that being a Math and Physics teacher in the high school would suffice. It would give me more time with my kids, and allow me to venture into the areas I love to ponder. I have worked as a programmer/analyst for the last 17+ years. All I can say about that is this is a profession God gave to me. I loved it from day one but it is demanding and you can never master the field as it is constantly changing. Right now I have completed the analysis and design on a bankruptcy project and am almost completed with the first phase of the data structure, core processing, and the interface. I am getting to use Java with this very cool plugin called the Spring Framework which were new to me when I began, but now my boss thinks I am truly a geek since I love what I do so much. He may be right. Last June I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I am fully able and I know God won't allow me to be tempted above that which I can stand. So as my late counselor would say, I am an optimist,,,still. You can still see that shit eating grin on my face. It will never fail, because God has never let me down. Today I have 3 lovely children Sara 15, who is one of the most talented kids I have seen. She has had agents and casting directors in LA show interest in her singing and acting talent (but the child can dance too.) We didn't move to LA because she has friends here but she will be heading out there in 2 and a 1/ 2 years to attend college. Scotty my 10 year old is a brilliant kid. If it interests him he will learn all he can about it. He is a wealth of knowledge and definitely a self study. He is living proof that kids with ADHD can excell. He is also a terrific character actor already at 10, and plays the trumpet. His goal is also to be an actor but he is considering meteorology, or zoology as his backup plan. Bethany is my 8 year old. She's my sweetheart. Always giving always sharing. She has been singing and acting too (the apples didn't fall far from the tree.) She shows tremendous potential especially in the singing category and because she is more dedicated to practice then Sara ever was I believe she will someday surpass Sara. Her goal is to be a Rock Star. They are wonderful kids and many times what keeps me going.

Thanks for your newsy update on your family. Every moment is to be treasured, isn't it.

I'll have to (eventually) get something under our "About Me" section. Meanwhile, we lived in Midland, MI for 11 years before moving to the Dayton area a year ago to work full time with Christian Family Fellowship. In Midland, Kevin practiced architecture while I (most recently) sold real estate. We enjoyed it there & we're enjoying God's goodness here too.

We're all great and thankful for each day of growth & love with our Father. So much fulfillment. Grant and his wife, Amelia (daughter of Rick & Patty Vogt, Family X), live in Richmond VA. Micah still lives in Midland MI, is a realtor. Our daughter, Dottie, is in her 2nd year of college in MI and will get married next August to Matt Tompary, son of Sigrid and Mark (7th Corps).

That's the short & sweet version of us.

I wondered if that I got you. Hope you still have electricity. I have been without it for weeks after hurricanes at 80 degrees at night in sweltering humidity and it is no fun. Happiness is not a warm gun; it's flipping a light switch and seeing the light come on!

but, we are still running our A/C since last April....cabin fever....want fresh air...want to open the WINDOWS!

You are right about Bob Denver, and he resided in Bluefield, WV, until his death. Wait, did he die? Anyway, Karl, missed it on that one!

If you ever are in the area let me know. Where do your parents live?

Hey Holly - Bless your sweet heart. Nice page you've got going on here, girl. Appreciated reading of your goings-on and your children. What a joy it is to know we have The victory through Christ. May your heart be at peace. Do you see your mom, dad & other brothers much? I remember meeting Al, Mary and the entire Bodolosky tribe at one fellowship. Of course, your dad had such a wonderfully bold way about him; then your mom's sweetness.

Hello Holly! The moment I saw the picture of your beautiful face, many fond in-residence memories came flooding back. It sounds like life is rich and full for you and your kids. Ron and I (and our 4 children) are blessed and living in Colorado. If you want to read an awesome book that will help you to believe to receive your total and complete healing, check out "Healing the Sick" by T. L. Osborn. Jesus Christ purchased our complete wholeness and you can absolutely enjoy it. That book helped me build my believing to receive some huge physical deliverance. You will be in my prayers.
