Got you message that you sent a message but I was not able to open it for some reason. It was good to see your name. I have fond memories of you and Donald. More years have gone bye than I care to remember since we have talked. I will…"
Did not mean to come across like I was being too serious, honestly John and I had to tone it down a little because some of our brethren were getting upset and thought we were serious and disliked each other.
Thanks for the message. I still talk to Doug regularly and I am glad you did not lesson to him. I remember him telling me to stay away from you too… but you know I am not very good at rules or someone trying to run my life.
It was great hearing from you… Boy, were those challenging times in Gunnison but I must admit I am better because of them. I was so young and sooooooooo eager to do something great. I look back at those days and think how many times I let…"
I have travelling a great deal and lost your cell phone number. I should be in your area within the month. Let's do diner again, I had a soooooo much fun. I know you want me to catch up with your brother so send me an email or call me on my…"
"Dale, you are an f-n genius, I love reading what you write -- I should have married you in 1979! You can make me laugh like no other. Love you crazy boy."
"Hi Dale - this has been an extremely enjoyable blog to follow ( and even consider deeply). There is quite a bit that you and John have said that I concur completely with. The perspective of time and distance that we now have gives us a little better…"
Doug McMullan speaks highly of your children. It will be an honor to meet them.
I will be traveling a great deal the next few months and I will need to concentrate on my business. But I promise you that I will find the time to get together…"
It is you who has the great heart and took care of me. I love being able to write you. My only regret is that I have to thank John Richeson for setting this site up and he will never let me forget that I have now thank him publicly.…"
John,OK, OK, OK, like usual you rain on my parade and my time to wonder about the TWI former Leader of Leaders is now over regarding reconciliation. But I am still wondering why you drop out of the Priesthood. I am going to get a background check on…
My dear Dale, You are just precious. I told my son it will be a great day when he gets to meet you. I have kept up with you sorta over the years via JP as I know he got to see you and I have asked others how you are. Always terrific words are spoken of you. We truly had some fantastic times. At Doug's place this past Sept. we were talking around the campfire about the good ole' times in fellowlaborers. I am a blessed woman for the heart full of memories I have of people like you.
For the record, I was crazy about you too!!!
Love you and so hope to see you sometime.
Give my love to Dawn, has seen seen the photo of us data entry girls Sara Unrein has posted? It is incredible to think back on those great days.
Love you Dale, Shari
Dale,
It's hard to put in words how my heart felt to see your sweet words. I am so happy that your life is full, happy and filled with thankfulness. I have thought of you often and thanked our Dad for keeping you safe and sound and protect your heart. Seriously, you have kept your sweet, loving , soft, tender heart through everything. That speaks loudly about you and your Dad. Thanks for being there for me in some of the hardest times in my life...I always knew that you would hold my heart in the tenderest of hands. You are a wonderful man...remember that always...
Oh and yes I am just as fun as you remember...despite what the people say...I hope I get to see your beautiful face and comforting smile again..I don't care how many chins!!! Please give my love to Dawn and hug her for me...let's don't lose touch again...Love you, always have always will...Evon
Dale,
how are you doing. I remember mostly being in fellowlaborers with you and all of the good times and crazy people that were part of that group. . we moved back here after living in seattle area for 15 years.I am a mail carrier in owensboro the area John Richeson is from, at any rate if youre ever down this way stop in and see me and Laurie take care
Thanks Dale for those kind, sweet words, that only a brother could speak. You still are a rock.
Would love it if you could come play here in Philly, would love to see you and toast the years that have just flown by. Guess we could finish one or two bottles on those years...we will keep it to two...lol..wasn't that the rule? just two?
The things that i still hold true to are the friendship that were wrought in those fires that tested the very heart of any, many will only guess at, as Hope Richeson wrote in her blog, its the telling to our kids that just amazes us, it almost sounds too bizarre almost like we were making it up.
Glad you showed up in my life, as i am sure many are here. As a fellow character, we did spice things up a bit.
You with that southern charm, and simple way of saying the way it was(lord do i have memories of those times!), but behind all that stood a man of his word and a man that just loved to love. You spoke in your blog about being challenged when teaching, darling you teach with your life. and as i have learned, that speaks louder than all the fine words others say.
If we get to say at the end of the day, i have given my all, loved well, spoken my word and kept my word. that is a fine day we can all rejoice in. a life well lived.
so here's to you, enjoy and talk soon.
kisses to you and family.
hope
Have thought of you often and fondly.
We had such a great time growing up together...we were
just kids as i look at it all now. You were as close to me as a brother and i miss you. Hope all is well with you, and to answer your question, still do not suffer fools well.
Drop me a line when you get a chance, and lets catch up, think we are due.
One day as I came home early from work, I saw a guy jogging naked. I said to the guy, "Hey buddy, why are you doing that?" He said, "Because you came home early."
"Man does not control his own fate. The women in his life do that for him."
"Marriage is a wonderful institution, but who wants to live in an institution?"
A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.
His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.”
The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.”
