About Me

Peter and I live south of LA in Costa Mesa, CA, where we have been since 1987. We still do a fellowship at some friends' home in Huntington Beach.

My Interests

Our two black labs, the beach, live music, entertaining, love to cook, art, hanging out with buddies.

Employment or Career

I've worked in law firms since graduating from the Corps. Am presently a legal secretary and paralegal and I coordinate a branch office of an Encino based firm that does civil litigation.

Music I Like

Still Good Ol' Grateful Dead, of course....some things don't change. I've also always been a bluegrass fan as well as blues, roots, Dylan, Motown, classical, pretty much everything that's not hip hop or thrasher. Went to a bunch of the Bonnaroo Festivals, but now it's got to be a little smaller of an event to attract me. We live in a good area for small pub-sized venues with great acts, so that's much more user friendly and I like to support the local music scene.

Books I Like

The Bible! Plus I've really been enjoying that working version of the Acts and Epistles that Walter Cummins published - great stuff! Other than that, I'm pretty much just a fiction reader, mysteries, that stuff, although I read lots. Not much non-fiction except the occasional history.

Television I like

Old movies and NFL. Sometimes there's good music, but I usually switch channels as soon as something annoying comes on, in other words, all the time.

Movies I like

All time fave is Casablanca. Loved The Natural. Usually comedies or lighter fare.

Sports Teams I like

Genetically Da Bears and White Sox; matrimonially Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics

Connie, I never thanked you for your card you sent to me when Ruth fell asleep...it's been 3 years now...and I wish I could say it is better...It is, BUT..there are those days..and MEMORIES. I sunk myself into horses, which isn't turning out to well. I did go to ISRAEL with STF with John & Jenivee Schoeheit...UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE..WOWWW!! Connie-
I was wondering about your photo that you'd like to put up to represent yourself. The Lespiers have a photo of you and Peter on their refrigerator. Do you have anymore of those photos or can we borrow that one from them? I'd like to get that photo so I could scan it for you and then I could email you the digitized image and you could upload it as your profile picture.
Also, since you love to cook, how about making some of those tahini bars like we had on LEAD? I have the recipe book! You can download the book from the front page of the 14th Corps Group or I can send it to you in your regular email. Let me know which you prefer, ok?
