God Bless everyone! I have been dragging around my info on "New Image Diet" for all these years and now that I want to find them, I'm not able to in my tons of Way Corps notes and files. Ellie and Grace taught us this info during the 10th Corps last year in res. Can anyone remember the plan per 7 days, I lost about 20 lbs. doing this and I had tons of energy! Thanks so much, maybe a few of us could piece this together and go it together or it may be somewhere in a forum already- I'm new to this site. -Cheryl J. Hite

  • Cheryl,

If you google "cabbage diet" there are several variations. I have lost recently on nutrisystem. it is an excellent program. Pray you have great results. Bless you.
  • Thanks Karen! this does sound low in calories and since Belinda has posted the one I'm looking to start I'll do the New Image Diet and keep your post in mind also. I would probably be having the nervous shakes by 5pm with the hard boiled egg approach. But actually when I do have boiled eggs as a protein snack- it does fill me up and give me the protein I seem to need. Well, thanks again!
  • Belinda, God Bless you !!! YES- this is what I'm looking for!!!! Thank you so much-I'm so thankful for you being able to give me this, I loved doing the plan many moons ago. Grace Bliss and Ellie taught our 10th Corps about foods and "diets" in every administration in the Word. Bottom line for us in this age of grace is ask God what to eat, walk by the spirit and in love and eat whatever you want to! I loved that and as I am almost 57 yrs. old and still in a size 12- it was sound principle. I would like to do this New Image Diet for cleaning out my system, cut the sweets and lose about 15 lbs. the off again on again approach worked well for me and I had lots of energy. Thanks again and I'll post results if anybody is interested. Bless!
  • Cheryl, I think the one you want is the one Belinda posted. I remember clearly having beef and tomatoes. We called it the cabbage soup diet - I got so weak from it Mrs. Wierwilled ordered me off it!

I really like another one we had. It was a hard boiled egg with half a grapefruit for breakfast, salad for lunch and cereal with raisins and milk for dinner. I think once a week we had popcorn - we could only do it for two weeks. It worked well but then considering the low calories, no wonder. I think that was about 600 calories a day, very very low.

    many blessings, Karen :)
  • Cheryl,

Not sure if this is the specific one you are referring to but it is one used in the Way Corp.

  • Dear Karen, God Bless!!!! Thanks for the reply. About the diet, it did have unlimited soup each day for 7 days on the diet and then you took a week off to readjust your habbits of portion and healthier food and then 7 days on the diet again until you lost the weight you needed to lose. The soup had lots of tomatoes and cabbage and other veggies and the longer it cooked throughout the day the better it was of course. Also, some days were just bananas and something else because by that day your body needed potassium etc. There was a day of baked potato, a day of meat or whatever else, I hope this is the one you have memorized!!! Please let me know thanks so much!!!
  • Was this the cabbage soup diet or the one with the hard boiled eggs? If it's the hard boiled egg one, I know it from memory! LOL! ;)
