Dear Family and Friends,

I am sending out an invitation to join me in a celebration of a most significant event that occurred 40 years ago. In 1971 I “enlarged my commitment to serve God” and volunteered to be a part of The Way Corps, a ministry leadership training program of The Way International, where I was actively involved from 1967 to 1987. I recall an experience that I had prior to my decision to join The Way Corps in my personal  blog that I recently redesigned and renamed. I invite you to stop by “Dr. J’s Apothecary Shoppe” and partake of some of the “Good Medicine,” prescriptions designed “ to minister to the heart and soul.” I guess you could say, I’m having a grand opening, and I invite you to come by and have a grand time, partaking of the commentary, poetry, graphics and musical selections. I think you will especially be blessed and edified by my post dealing with Doulos, a Greek word that has been especially meaningful to me over the past 40 years. Check this out:

As the Christian Spirituality Examiner for Columbus, OH, I also invite you to subscribe to my Examiner.com page and enjoy the articles which touch upon a wide variety of subjects. I am endeavoring to make full proof of my ministry, and I invite you to celebrate God’s goodness with me.

“O Taste and see that the Lord is good” in this sampling of some of my favorite music celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Hey Dr. J - there is a lot on the shelves of that apothecary and it is going to take some serious browsing time!  Thanks for sharing all of it for sure.  I am thankful for your life and your ministry and the gentle prod to reflect upon God's goodness that I find in your work.  Love to you!

    Mike
