I've been having a good time catching up with old friends, but many of my memories include people who aren't on here (yet). Maybe they don't want to be on or maybe someone just hasn't reached into their address books and invited them. I'm sure others may have the same thoughts, so I thought I'd add this discussion of "Does anybody know where ___________ is?" Feel free to add your desired friends or let us know if you know how to contact somebody.

  • Hi Beth,
There's gotta be a God!!! I opened my binder in which I keep my Corps Household News letters and the page was opened exactly to the page that listed Jeannine Killin's engagement to George Matott in February 1985!!!

I just checked White Pages and got her number. I am speaking with her on the phone now. I will send her your web page.

    Love,
    Dick
  • Hi Dick! Thanks so much for writing and sharing that wonderful story! I just love Jeanine so much and how cool to meet the person who witnessed to her! That's awesome! When my husband and I were in New Hampshire
she was my best buddy. She spent a lot of nights with me when Charles was on the road teaching, etc.....sometimes I would stay behind to do stuff with the wow's in the area. She was a huge blessing!
I would love to see her again!

thanks again Dick for writing! I'll be sure to give her your info if I find her!!!! Love from above,
    beth
  • I will pass your love to Steve once I get in contact with him Donna.
    Luv u,
    Roberto
  • Please pass my love to Steve Pascal, too! He gave me a roof over my head for a little while a long time ago. Thanks!
  • Jeanine was in the 11th. I would love to hear from her as well. Last I heard she was in New Hampshire. I will try to look in my old Way Corps Newsletters to see if I can find her married name. That would make doing an internet search easier. If anyone is or was in NH and knows, it would save time.
Funny story - I don't know if I witnessed to Jeanine or she beat me to the punch. We were at the University of Colorado together and I was witnessing to a gal next to me in class, who was not the slightest bit interested. After class, Jeanine, who had been seated behind me and listened to the whole thing, tapped me on the shoulder and said, "excuse me, are you a Christian?" When I responded affirmatively, she said, "I am looking for a fellowship where they speak in tongues and interpret and do it (I don't remember the exact terminology, but it was something of the gist of decently and in order).

Easiest witness of my life. What a pearl she was and is.

    God Bless you,
    Dick DeNenno
