and yes, I was a "force"... and still try to be ... perhaps a little more diplomatic and kind
(sorry "mom" )
If you would like to contact Betty Bowen directly, just give me a holler and I'll get you to her. Yes... she is alive and well and is (now - for almost 12 years) my mother-in-law, and she's in her healthy 80's and she "does" email and eats sushi!
He has us blessed!

I sent your blip about the recipe for braun to Betty (Bowen) and here is what she said...
Love you man
Cliff
Hi Cliff,
Jon was almost right. It has more raisins than oats and peanuts - 1 cup peanuts, 1 cup rolled oats, and 1 and 1/2 cup of raisins. He was definitely a force in the food services department.
Love you, Mom
(note: "Mom" is Betty Bowen)
100 percent authentic BRC basement origional...promise

then flip...sweat the juice...now...(he like his burger's medium rare) ...I was on his burger crew at ye old snack shop
ordered "Happy Eating" by Grace Bliss....so my recipes are increasing!
This is wonderful! My family grew up on peanut butter bombers...and
now my daughter who has a daughter makes them for her family, too!
You can't beat good food, good fellowship and good friends!
Bless ya, Nancy
45 cups of raisns
18 cups oats
18 cups peanuts
18 cups walnuts
bring all ingrediants togerher through a grinder two times
press into cookie sheets and roll with a rolling pin
makes 40 6 oz bars
from the official LEAD cook book
peanut butter bombers
18 cups peanut butter
16 cups sunflower seeds
8 cups barely malt syrup
21/2 cups honey
21/2 cups milk powder
mix all well and roll into 8 oz balls makes 80 bombers
Of course I cut these down when I made them for my family
for exaple I used 4 1/2 cups for the first two items, 2 cups of syrup and 3/4 cups for the last two items on the bombers.
