  Another update: Well, it's been over a year now since my surgery on my neck and i have gone through 2 others on my vocal chords. I speak very well but have to be very careful as to volume and to start my sentences with words that breaths. I still lose my voice for a couple days here and there but I believe God is working in me everyday and every moment to help me talk.

  Frank , Marilou has been put in a nursing home cause she was unable to take her meds on her own She asked that I let you know and asked that we pray for her . She needs a miricle of healing becaus she does not want to be in that nursing home. Please SIT for her and I know that God will deliver.

  Well everyone, I think it's time for an update. I have been going to voice therapy twice a week and to an osteopathic Dr. once a week. It was found that three different functions were damaged during the surgery last July 9th. There has been a problem with my diaphragm which just makes it so that when I take deep breaths I do it in three stages (no Biggie), My ability to sense Hot and Cold was damaged as I could walk out to the car in the coldest of mornings in a TShirt and never feel cold, and of course my voice. My voice is now 80% back and I can communicate very nicely. Toward the end of the day it's very hard but then again I usually don't have to say much then. I cannot raise my voice as talking loudly can and will damage my vocal chords again so when I speak n front of a crown i take out my handy little spokesman amplifier and talk through that. I still have a ways to go as every time i say a vocalized word I have pain just above my larnyx (a 1-2 out of 190). Less than 6 months ago the Neuro surgeon aid I wouldn't ever speak with a voice again. Every doctor I saw except one would ask me that if this was all the better my voice would ever get could i be satisfied with it. Hey, I jammed wit Rusted Root once, i could never be satisfied with a voice like what I had. Us ROCK stars have our standards you know ( I climb rocks, rig for music videos and have jammed with RR- I think that all makes me a rock star)
  
  I know the speech therapy and the osteopathic things did tremendous stuff and hat is what God's will was for me to do but I also know that the most powerful medicine of all was the prayers people spoke to God on my behalf. and the strengthening of my believe due to the love of the saints. To everyone I want to tell you how thankful I am for your thoughts and prayers. You made such a difference in my life and you brought my identity back to me. now again I can share what i really feel inside and I can speak God's Word again the way it should be spoken. I promise to keep speaking the Word and doing what God wants me to do. It's the only way I know of saying thank you to you and most of all to our heavenly Father

  Are you doing massage therapy as well? Are they using any essential oils?

  Some progress today, the muscles in my neck are too tight to allow the larynx to move freely so we are working on trying to loosen them up whenever possible

  I just went through two hours of physical therapy which basically is a massage of the muscles of my neck. Hurts like there is no tomorrow but at least it gives me a couple more hours off this afternoon to rest. BTW, you have no idea how much your prayers mean to me, I know our heavenly Father always hears our prayers so I am confident in my deliverence. It;s my prayer that God shows you something special about what your prayers do.
