BLOGS

Blog or Article?

Blogs often focus on personal opinion, experiences, views, anecdotes or advice. Blogs tend to have a relaxed and conversational feel, such as in storytelling and are generally 300-500 words.

Articles aim to deliver well-researched, informative content with solid evidence to back up the points made.  Articles are usually more formal, organized and frequently range 500-1000 words.

Please celebrate with us!

This weekend our oldest daughter, Erica, is singing at Carnegie Hall with her college singing group, The ENC Chambers Singers. Please celebrate with us!God has been so gracious to us, especially with worship. He has allowed our time-honored family tradition of spiritual worship to be restored and to continue to the next generation. All of our children are talented singers, musicians and worshippers. Thank you, Father! We are so proud of Erica. She makes me think of how proud God is of each of us, as we worship Him on the stages of our lives. He says in Ephesians that it will take all of eternity for Him to show His kindness to us. ♥Many blessings to each of you. May His Word continue to leap off the page and become kinetic within you! love, Karen

  • Thank you all for your kind comments. I love my Corps family!

I spoke with Erica last night as she was leaving NYC for Boston. She said the concert went very well and it was great to worship God in Carnegie Hall where so much musical history has blossomed.

Her professor was very pleased with their performance. They all had the day off today to rest. They worked so hard this weekend with new conductors and adjustments to location and all.

Thanks so much for all your encouragement. I am believing God to open doors for all of our Corps children! Yeah!

much love & blessings, Karen :)
  • It's such a blessing to see our kids grow up in His Word and fulfill the talents He has given them individually. My daughter and husband are at Berklee College of Music as I write this. We certainly thank you for all your help on what to see and do in Boston this weekend. I'll write you more later. God is good! Myrna
  • That's wonderful, Karen. I'm celebrating with you! Your excitement is contagious :) I also greatly enjoy how you give thanks and praise to the Father for his goodness and graciousness. It's so.... ego-free, refreshing and heartwarming.

    Lovingly,

    Kathy
