Blog or Article?

Blogs often focus on personal opinion, experiences, views, anecdotes or advice. Blogs tend to have a relaxed and conversational feel, such as in storytelling and are generally 300-500 words.

Articles aim to deliver well-researched, informative content with solid evidence to back up the points made.  Articles are usually more formal, organized and frequently range 500-1000 words.

Jesus Christ Become Public Enemy Number One

The Passover lamb was killed at about 3:00 pm on Wednesday, the 14th of Nisan, as we know from previous study. We also know that Jesus Christ was our Passover. So counting six days back we get to the eighth of Nisan. (Biblical calendar) We see that Jesus is having supper at the home of Lazarus and Martha.KJV John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.To see how Jesus became public enemy number one we have to go back a few verses to John 11:45.KJV John 11:45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. It is shocking when you see what men will do to other men in the name of doing God’s work. People will even to go against the plans of God in the name of saving their religion or what they believe. You can even think you are doing God’s will and still be fighting against the will of God. How important is it that we read the Bible and let it interpret itself. We should learn how to let the Word speak for itself and keep our opinions out. At this time Jesus became public enemy number one. He was now a wanted man. He could no longer walk around openly. But Jesus still did what he needed to be doing. He still did the will of the Father to carry out the plan of salvation for us.KJV John 11:54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.The common people that came to the feast were wondering if Jesus would go to the feast or not because he was a wanted man. We know that he did. He was about to carry out God plan. The complete Teaching is on my web site on the Live Recorded Teachings Page. I am doing a series on the “The Days Just before the Last Supper”.
