I have a queston.
You said that drinking to much water can flush out the minerals and hence an imbalance. I live down under where the drought has been long going for 11+ years so we drink lots of water. My favorite is carbonated mineral water.
What is too much?
Is there a weight to body ratio amount or what. It is sometimes hard to rely on what the bottled water companys are actually putting in what they sell because of patents, trade secrets etc. but the fizzy water always makes me feel better with burping rights and all. Most of all I feel hydrated. Good topic.
bottled water for now just because of the chemicals in the plastic, when it gets heated it gets in the water.
Pellegrino is the only glass bottled water I can find here, so I do drink that for a treat since stopping Arrowhead.
Come winter time though I will probably start drinking the Arrowhead Sparkling again, it really is good stuff.
I found Dick's Sporting Goods (12.00) or Wal Mart (2.50) have bottles free of the chemical. So I've started drinking our reverse osmosis water from home and fill up BPA Free bottles from Wal Mart you can even freeze 3/4 full with water or green tea and you have cold water for quit a while. I freeze several at a time.
An acupuncturist told me a while back drinking water is of course very important but you have to add minerals to your body and not just keep flushing them out with plain water. So green tea works great as a thirst quencher and it puts back into your body those important trace minerals.
I hope that helped to answer your question. Drink lots of water and green tea. Green Tea is an antioxidant so it really is good for you.
Actually, the ingredients say "carbonated water"
Thanks for the topic as I drink a lot of water each day to stay hydrated. I didn't know there were different types of water, especially the alkalize type. I once in a blue moon have a cola but that is about it. Ten years ago I got in the habit of drinking diet pepsi. For a number of weeks I felt very ill and it was that sugar free junk that is put in it I later read was making me ill. I stopped drinking it altogether and felt better. I later read that many people were going to doctors about the same feeling and the docs couldn't find anything wrong. That sugar free stuff many of you may know was discovered by a chemist looking for a cure for cancer by chance and now it is in everything. Good topic and it really makes you think about (GIGO) garbage in garbage out.
You put the pedal to the metal! If you can find some good water, after awhile, you probably won't crave as much sugar. I know...I was raised on desserts, and hated drinking water! The info that I posted was really meant for everyone. For some people that have health issues, it's a simple thing that they can do that may change their life. Blessings!!
