Blogs often focus on personal opinion, experiences, views, anecdotes or advice. Blogs tend to have a relaxed and conversational feel, such as in storytelling and are generally 300-500 words.

Articles aim to deliver well-researched, informative content with solid evidence to back up the points made.  Articles are usually more formal, organized and frequently range 500-1000 words.

I suspect that for those of us with a yearning for knowledge (or should I say truth) will eventually find that honest questions strip dogma of its lovely veneer.Sometimes I strain to find a way to live honestly in a complex would. A world filled with moral ambiguities and ethical certitudes based on false postulation. This is the juncture where revelation meets revision meets conveniences; here truth is crushed into the dust of conformity. There is no warning! Our very minds become pariahs and ours hearts like Tamil Tigers explode with confusion.Clues in the fire, in the ashes? It is good every half century or so to examine why we think the way we think; why is it we see so much and understand so little?Yes, smack the curtain; see if the man is there. Look beyond the great cosmos above the waters that separate the waters; is the great God and His son there as well as here?It is said that when we stare into the abyss that the abyss stares back at us, nature abhors a vacuum, so then must God. Therefore we look within and without to judge by proof not tradition what and who is God and His son? I am at once sure and yet without full knowledge that I am right.

  • I believe a very important key to seeking knowledge is to do it with humiity. I think of that illustration quite ofen of putting a dot on a piece of paper to signify how much I know. Then draw a small circle around the dot and the space in the circle is what I'm aware of that I don't know. All space outside the circle, which is infinity, is everything I don't even know I don't know!
Everyday I wake up thinking, how will you show your face to me today Lord. He aways does, and some days I'm aware of His prescence all day long. Other days, I feel deserted by Him and think I must have my eyes closed or my back turned. But when I look back at those days, hind sight IS 20/20 and I see how His hand guided me even in the midst of my sin. Oh, how could such a great and mighty God love me so!
As much as I love knowledge and the adventure of learning, knowing His presence is what I crave.
