Blog or Article?

Blogs often focus on personal opinion, experiences, views, anecdotes or advice. Blogs tend to have a relaxed and conversational feel, such as in storytelling and are generally 300-500 words.

Articles aim to deliver well-researched, informative content with solid evidence to back up the points made.  Articles are usually more formal, organized and frequently range 500-1000 words.

I Was Born To Tell You I Love You

That is a sweet line (I Was Born To Tell You I Love You) which simply describes my thoughts about reconnecting with many of you. The song that line came from is entitled "Your Call" and is the first song on "My Page." It is performed by son's a capella group and he is the one singing the lead - yes, he has a much better voice than his dad . . .Dr. Wierwille once told me I was too idealistic . . . and there are still patterns within me that craves for idealism like perfect spiritual unity in this life (as there is scriptural exhortation). We have gone many different directions in our lives. I have chosen to not just judgmentally "accept" or "tolerate" where many have gone, but lovingly appreciate each one's love for God and how they are endeavoring to do their best for Him.Seeing and hearing how God has blessed you is inspiring. If the Lord tarries, may we all endeavor to walk in love and walk worthy of the calling to which we were called.Well, a few of my personal thoughts. . . Please know that I love you.

  • Beautiful. I feel the same way. God started teaching me this kind of acceptance many years ago when we were on a vacation passing through Niagra Falls and I saw some Menenite (?sp) women dressed in black dresses with the little white hats and I had the overwhelming awareness that this was an expression to God of their love for him. I started thinking then that no matter how many mistakes we make or how we may wrongly divide his word if we have accepted Christ as our personal saviour we are part of the SAME BODY! And I am not the judge of who that may be because I can't know the heart like God does. Someone who looks real religious and talks big may never have had that personal inside reality of accepting Christ and those who seem way off base or are out of fellowship with God may still have had a moment in time where they genuinely accepted Christ and are part of the body. Our pastor taught once from the gospels on a parable saying not to pull out the tares and possibly pulling out good parts of the crop and that they would be separated at the harvest. Then telling his disciples that it would be Christ to separate believers from unbelievers in the end times. Or something to that effect. Haven't looked at that passage recently but that said it all for me about not judging. And then in I Corinthians 13 the whole point of the first verses is even if I could move mountains with faith or give my body to be burned if I didn't have loved it would PROFIT ME NOTHING!!!! I too have the inate tendency to think things should be done a certain way and have to suppress my initial reactions and open myself to accept differences. But it's the loving acceptance that brings people to a point of change. I loved the song and it had so much depth of sound for a capella I almost felt like there had to be some music with it. What a blessing to have that music in your family. Love you, Judy
