Here Jesus is shown having been Crucified. Here he sheds his sinless blood in atonement for our sins, and those of the whole world. The Cross is the earliest from Christian Art from the first Century,and today it is the most celebrated Christian art from in the Western Culture. Jesus is the victom and priest, lamb of God, offering himself and his shed blood to the Lord God our Father in Heaven.He is our Passover Lamb.
