Whoa! You live in Compton? I was a wow in 1976 in Inglewood, but I washed windows in Compton, among other "scairy" places. Seems to me that Compton is in the heart of South Central which was my wow area. Tough assignment that was, even back then.
But hey, my wife, Shannon (Walls) Nye knew your Mom and Dad pretty well, and we both loved the music your Dad used to put out back in The Day. What a sax player! No doubt Skip is still playing, and I hear that you too are a fine musician. That's way cool fore shore. I play blues harmonica, although here in Juneau, Alaska, bands to play with aren't as plentiful as they are Down South. And to be truthful, the "bar scene" is the main scene here, and that gets old, with all the drunks and such. But I do love to play when the back up is good...

Anyway, have a great day!
