About Me

we(Kris and I) moved to southern California almost a year ago.....to a little town called Seal Beach.....and we are less than a block from the beach.....Our sons are 27(TIM) and Chris will be 24 in March....i miss them terribly....Tim is recoding an album with his band "wild light" and he lives between boston and new hampshire(our home for the last 20 years) Chris is living in Geneva Switzerland....working for a college roomate... oh, for the first time since leaving the Way, i am in a church i LOVE....first time in my life!!!! yeah God....that's all i can think of for now....

My Interests

antiquing, reading, bicycling, decorating, walking on the beach....

i was an antique dealer for the last 6 years in NH... i mostly painted furniture--shabby chic look...but only furniture that looked crappy....if an antique is in good condition i will not paint it.....but it's fun to take crappy stuff and make it look good again....

Music I Like

Andrea Bocelli....u2....Arcade Fire(my son's old band which has made it big)and Worship music....sounds religious, but i still love it....

Bold Love and Leading with a limp are 2 books i am reading right now....both by Dan Allender.....and i am reading Kite runner The Message larry crabb booksi usually like.... the sacred romance is in my top 5

Television I like

HOUSE the last several week sof american idol-- when the really good singers are on..... inside the NFL--but only when the patriots are winning

Sports Teams I like

Wow....it's been awhile. I go by Seal Beach evertime I drive to San Diego to see my son and my sister. I live in Agoura Hills which is inland from Malibu. I work as an E.R. nurse in the area. Hi, Katie. I'm not sure you will remember me - I remember you from my Norristown days....I was still in high school and you and Kathy would come down to visit from Bloomsburg. I was called 'Bunny Hurrell' at that time and not long after that dropped the Bunny and used my given name,Liz, so you might also know me by Liz Hurrell. I wa spart of the gaggle of high school girls that used to follow Joe Guarini around. I thought you and Kathy were so cool...... ya know, older college girls and all.....So anyhow I live close to Kathy and Bob and hang out and fellowship with them alot. Kathy and I were just talking about those 'good old days' not long ago. I read your profile and saw you are reading Bold Love--I love that book- I read it a year ago and am getting ready to read it again. I really like Dan Allender, and Larry Crabb. I think Bold Love is unique and spiritually profound reading and I love the Proverbs breakdown of the fool, simpleton and evil person .Great stuff and so practical. i'm such a bookworm. i could go on and on.......
