About Me
Moved to Alaska with my family in 1995. We live in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley in the small town of Palmer. If you look on a map, it's about 45 miles north of Anchorage.
We have run Frontier Christian Ministries for the past 10 years and are very blessed. Our son Linus and his wife, Jackie, live not far from us. We have 2 beautiful grandsons, Malachi and Arin, and 4 granddaughters from Jackie's previous marriage. Also, our daughter, Lydia lives with us.
My Interests
I love animals and have raised Alaskan Malamutes since 1995. Our first, Boaz, came to live with us our first winter up here and since then, we have gotten a few more. Today, we have 4, 2 males and 2 females, but we are not planning to breed any of them. We lost our wonderful Boaz last December, he was 12.
I also like to quilt. Learned how in NY and have blessed many babies with nice, warm quilts since then!
Music I Like
I really like Matchbox 20 and Anna Nalick.
Books I Like
I like all kinds of books. I belong to a book club and we read all different genres. One of my favorites was "To Kill a Mockingbird." Also, "If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things."
Television I like
My Name is Earl, Lost and Prison Break

Good to get your comments. Are you a blonde now? From the pictures Linus posted, Alaska looks amazing. Grandchildren are a blessing. It makes the circle of life thing and passing the Word to the next generation such a present reality.
Love you.
It is good to see you and Linus III blessed. Linus III has become quite the photographer. He was like a second father when I was a teenager because he helped me work out and taught me about weight training when I needed it most. I wish that I continued that discipline...ha!

Mom is in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She is entertaining her grandchildren during the Summer months to give them a break from Indiana. It is just so flat out here. Try comparing the majesty of Alaska to the wonderful cornfields of Indiana. Ha!
This is a great place to raise a family. Check out my website at:

surgery all day long. Our hospital is one of the top ten trauma hospitals in the nation.....so we see a LOT! We've put together car accident victims, tornado victims, etc. I assist the doctor
doing the procedure. We take call for emergencies. I've been doing this type of work since before the way corps. I love it. I have
no problem getting up for work!
