About Me

I have lived for about 20 years in Canada, ever since I moved from New Knowville, Ohio. I have been married to Denis Assad who graduated from the 14th Way Corps. We own a home and have fellowships in our home. And travel to oversee several fellowships within the province of Québec. We will be celebrating 20 years of marriage in the Spring of 2008.

My Interests

I still love God very much. Enjoy working with and teaching the believers in our area. My husband and I teach whenever we are requested to. I love to study God's Word and continue to learn Greek language. I love interior design, art and organising events. Supporting my husband in what we do to bless God's people. I enjoy travelling. We have interest in assisting with Children's youth camps and advances and do so twice yearly for the last 5 years or so. Love to assist with the crafts for children.

Employment or Career

I presently work as a contracter/consultant for Department of National Defence (the equivilent to the US Pentegon). I work in Legal services department with the Canadian Forces. I have done this type of work as an office Administrator/ Paralegal/ Information Specialist for the last 12+ years.

Music I Like

Music with God's Word in it (rightly divided). Love Leon Hansen's voice, Brian Bliss and Dean Ellenwood I like many Canadian artists. Like Celine Dion, Pavarrotti, the 3 tenors, Shaina Twain. I like classical music and some Country music. That is all I can think of at the moment.

Books I Like

Most of my reading still remains Biblical. I have started a collection of books by Gene Stratton-Porter and James Herriot. I do want to collect all of them. I love mystery novels.

Television I like

Home improvement shows and interior design. Mystery things that make you think and figure out the conclusion.

Movies I like

Remains of the Day Sabrina Period piece movies-because of there rich value of the spoken word

Sports Teams I like

Oylmpic skating and skiing

I gave a believer in Waterbury a ride to Yale New Haven for some tests today and on the way back I asked her to route us back up Willow St. The market is still there across the street from the apartment you had. It's been 32 years so it was one of the few familiar items. We then cut through Fulton Park to get to her street. I would imagine we witnessed there. I can picture the summer minuteman button and the braids on Gillis and Jim eating at someone's house and saying "Now that's a meal I can eat again"

Aloha from Kona. Good to hear that you're developing your Greek and keeping active in the ministry of His word.

Beth and I are involved with young people here and in a family camp in Colorado. If you'd like to teach us about crafts, we'd love to learn what you're doing.

I have been developing word in the stars teachings for young people and older, it has been a huge challenge.....

You've always been a quality person and I'm glad to know that you are where you are doing His will.

Good Morning and how wonderful it is to hear about your life and Denis. I have often thought about him and you. My travels for work and pleasure have brought me near Canada, but never right in it. I am told it is beautiful and I do plan to see it someday. Give my love to Denis and keep a bit for yourself!

Hi Rebeca, God Bless you and Denis. It was so good to see you in August. Anything new since then? I am busy as usual. Daniel (my son) Chris (my husband) and I are retaking Walter Cummins Journey class witrh a small group. Then, in about February, we will begin the second part. We are doing it every other Weds. so we won't get through until 2009 if the Lord tarries! How are your French kids?
