Hello to all, Laurie and I are currently living in the not so sunny north .We have our own business, remodeling homes,offices, and chicken coops, Jason our #1 son is in business w/ us and also here with us as we travel along lifes highway , as Pat the Handyman and Wife Laurie do the best they can in the Land of the Rusty but Trusty BUICK ! News about Pat ,Laurie and Jason ... Where to start ...? Traded our former credentials honors and accolades in for a Starbucks Coupon worth $ 1.75 and we can carry pistols there now as well ... HOT Coffee and Hot Lead . It has been a fast , few years here ... We made and lost a fortune .. Made and kept a lot of friends .... moved a few times ... Jason is in College part Time, Pat is President of a local small business assoc.. a former radio show host , and locally known for his over the top support of our USA .. Laurie is the brains behind the operation deferring to Pat only so he thinks he is( the brains) at times ( ha Ha ) Pat agrees that men are just animals that live in the house and wear clothes....( we have not evolved ) Laurie is a school bus driver ( the wheels on the bus go round and round ) has a health and wellness biz , and is active in the Fellowship we host at a Local Restaurant ( los amigos ) Jason works for the family biz "Pat the Handyman" and associates, Jason being The associate .. other than that, time and space preclude us from a lengthy tome... In the 70's while in the Military and I was intro'd to Christ I spent several years of that as a Big Kahuna in military outreach ...It was exciting I was in the miltary and in a foriegn country ....and speaking God's Word ... Ilearned that freedom has NO enemy , as man will no matter what crave it, and God always makes a way to get it .... My other inerests are The victorious Life Church here in Ypsi and Christian Family Fellowship ...www.cffm.org and finally ..... If someone was to ask you , what do you stand for or what do you believe in maybe , what would you fight for ...what would you answer ......? What is most important to you ? What principle do you abide by 1st and foremost ? What do you stand up for ? What do you consider important enough to share with others ? What do you teach your kids ? What would you fight for ? What do people see when they look at you ? What do your bring to the table ? What will you pass on to the next generation ? Yes indeedy! It's been about 20 years -- thanks for remembering. Pat, didn't you and I go hold fellowships for a while in a group residence for folks who'd suffered head trauma?

I'm in WInston-Salem -- have been since I left Ypsi. My 2 older kids live here in town, my daughter with our grandson who'll be 2 soon. I am remarried to a wonderful man, and we also have a lovely nearly-12 y.o. daughter.

I laughed reading your profile...am so happy to see your humor and lightheartedness have survived and flourished.

Yup Pat you're right, potato, potato, potato, is the sound on the compression and exhaust strokes on a SHOVELHEAD, sadly my TWIN CAM doesnt make the same trade marked sound, neither does my EVO. But I'm still happy to ride them when I can. And when I get my Shovelhead chopper up and running, THEN I'll once again enjoy some taters.I almost got to go for a ride on this past sunday, after the snow melted, but then the fog rolled in.

Thanks for remembering -- and yes, I remember you also. I am so glad to see that all is well for you and your family. It is wonderful that you have continued to fellowship and keep things going. I hear Wayne's ministry is doing great. I use to work with him and Fern as well as John Shroyer and his wife. I heard about John. It always breaks my heart to hear of the passing of a loved one, but thankfully we will see him again. As you realize, Phil and I are no longer together, however we are both doing well. He lives in Texas and I in California and we both have achieved much through the years. I just saw Phil last month and my husband and I had Christmas dinner with him and his wife. He looks good and is doing great.

Hi PL & LL, My grandfther, LEO McClear built or helped build that radio station. WE used to buy all our gas at a station at the corner of US 23 and Packard. Just south of which was a driving range that my brother and I both worked at collecting the range balls. Three of us caddied at washtenaw CC. The older brothers and sisters went to St. Johns grade and high school. We used to take a greyhound bus to a bus stop right under that watertower, then walk the rest of the way to St. Johns. I' m one of 11 children, a good catholic family- aphrase I heard so much when I was a kid. Sounds like you all have lived there about as long as I did. Drove through a while back the church looks the same , much has changed as you go towards A2. God Bless, Greg
