  • Pam,
Wow. What a wonderful blast from the past. I have such fond memories of my friendship with Cherish. I loved the photos and am amazed at how much she and her daughter look alike. I have two children now (5 and 3) named Mahalia and Will. They are funny, smart, amazing little people. I see that you are going back to school for nursing...that is wonderful and very needed! Good luck and give my love to Cherish. Be well, Christine
  • Hi Pete and Pam,
Good to hear from you. Christine has 2 kids: Mahalia 5 and Will, soon to be 3. They are sooooo much fun, most of the time. Christine also received he Doctorate Degree last May. I'm very proud.

    take care,
    p
  • Hi Pam, I remember you more and more now as my memory is refreshed. I ran the Housekeeping Department when you were in the Way Corps, and had many of the girls from the Way Corps pass through Housekeeping. ha. I loved my job there and loved the Indiana Campus immensely. Have nothing but the best of memories from it. My daughter Charlotte still comments on how much she loved it growing up there as a child. Please let me know how you are doing. So you married a 10th Corps vet, Pete. That is wonderful. I was married to Dale Stittgen, Way Corps 6, until 1989. Am currently single, just working and raising my child basically. Keep in touch. Love, Susan
  • Yes Pam I sure do remember you. HOw are you doing?? We live about twenty minutes from Charlotte, NOrth Carolina, Probably should have said I was from there, people would recognize that more. I am going to read your profile, haven't done that yet. Please write back whenever you can. Susan
  • Dear Pam,

Thanks so much for contacting me. You and Pete look awesome and how can it be that "baby" Andrew is so tall, handsome and is married! I remember when Carol Carey used to go to your apartment just to hold and play with Andrew. What fine memories.
    God bless you and Pete,
    Rosanne
  • Dear Pam,

I think I do remember you and your husband. Weren't you in charge of food services at Emporia '83 '84ish?

I was in NC when I was first witnessed to so I never knew any believers here. I do now...John & Lisa Sparks, Jim & Kelly Sparks. They live in Fairport as does their mother. Their sister lives in Canandaigua. I live in Greece across from Ridgemont Plaza. Greece is longer dominated by Kodak. In fact The company has imploded 3 huge facilities. Many others lay empty. Kodak finally figured out the digital age had arrived...just ten years later than the other companies (oh dear!!!)

    God BLess!
    Carleen
  • God bless you guys, that is wonderful. I have taught in high school and college, worked as a youth director, so I know kids today needs lots of help. Tell Pete I will pray that he wins...and tell your son not to get discouraged - he is doing a sometimes thankless job, but it makes a huge difference in the lives of these kids when they know someone cares.

    Grace and peace,
    Michael
  • Hi Pam! Blessings to you and Pete. We are getting ready to leave for church soon so I'll have to make this short. But yes, I remember those days in the west branch in Rochester. The love and sweetness and the power of God was awesome. We are just now starting to see these wonderful things again. And the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ is moving. I just receved an e-mail from a minister in Kitale, Kenya who is running our foundational class with 45 people! What I am most blessed about is that we are offering the class FREE!!

You and the family look beautiful! I saw the pictures. I am soo happy for you. Pray for my son Michael he is on a missions trip in India with Rev. Sangat Baines (10/11 Corps). If I can be of service to you please let me know
  • A politician!!! Well, I guess that Emporia training really did pay off. (congrats to you for the RN adventure) I really love you guys and it is wonderful to re-connect. I went up to Emporia last year and walked around for a good while, and naturally thought of you guys and the 'good times' we had
there. Please give Rocky my love. (I turn 53 next week!)

    Michael
  • Hi Pete and Pam!!!

Your pictures are so wonderful! Just getting to see your faces after so many years! You two helped me soooo very much at Emporia! There are a few of Pete's staff from Emporia on this new site, Charlie D and Cheryl Myer!
    Great Memories!!!!
