About Me
Hey, I'm nathan. I think you're awesome.
I want to be like David, a man after Gods own heart.
I want to be wise. To know when to be gentle and when to be mighty.
I want to be full of passion and still lead every thought captive.
I want to have abundance so that I may give abundantly. I want to do good unto all men, especially unto the household of faith.
I want to look at a person and see only the best.
I want to love, to be loved, to be in love, to have love, and to give love.
I want to marry my best friend. And
I want to be a friend to anyone who is in need of one.

May I post a link to your website in our "Links" tab here? I just saw it. Cool.
All is well down here. How's everything going for you folks up in Ohio?
Good to talk to you!
Victor
Feel free to use the post for a blog. Your grandpa was a very cool guy. I remember him bringing a Christmas tree over to our W.O.W. house, and it was so big, it wouldn't fit between our floor and our ceiling. No problem; he'd brought along a saw, and sawed off about the bottom quarter of the tree; presto, Christmas tree. We ended up sharing that tree with a member of the Outlaws motorcycle gang, whom I'd witnessed to in a bar in Van Wert, named "MadDog." That tree helped us move the Word! Funny story, though. I don't know if old MadDog really accepted God, but he came closer to it, and at least didn't break up the town before heading back to (wherever home was for him). Love, Vickie
I stumbled onto your paged and loved it. I am thrilled to see your pure heart. I remember your Dad having a pure heart, too. Tell him I said hi and I hope all is well with him.
You may need to tell him Beth Ricks said hi. Elizabeth Lowder wasn't the name he knew me by.
God best to you as you seek after God!
Your grandpa referred to himself as "a nurseryman." He and your Grandma Marilyn were living on their (farm?) property outside of Paine, Ohio, or at least I think that was the nearest town. They had us out for dinner once, and your Grandma made a casserole that was so good I still remember how good it was, even though I have no idea what was in it. They let us ice skate on their pond, also, and that must have been later in the year. Your Grandpa told me the story of how he'd been a bombardier during the war, and how they'd sometimes do bombing runs over Japan. Your Grandpa was the one who figured out (from looking at the amazingly well-lit complex of buildings that they were about to bomb) that it was, in fact, the wrong target. They'd been about to bomb the Emperor's palace. If he hadn't realized that in the moment before he dropped the bombs, the war would certainly have turned out much differently. The Japanese were extremely devoted to their Emperor, and if he'd been killed, or his palace bombed, they'd have redoubled their already very considerable efforts to kill as many Americans as possible. Your grandpa was a very cool guy. Love, Vickie
You are the grandson of Dan and Marilyn Friedly? From Paine, Ohio? Wow - wasn't that a pic of your sweet grandpa on your webpage? I love them both so much! I ran a twig in Van Wert for a couple of years, and they were amazing. Are they still living? Dude, you have got quite a pedigree there.
Love, Vickie
