About Me
Still just as jazzed about "a lifetime of Christian service." Doin' what we can to apply the training and carry out God's call... the most important spiritual realities haven't changed. Labels, nametags & organizations come and go, but Ephesians still reads the same as it always did. We're not trying to fulfill anyone else's ministries, just our own. Love to help wherever someone needs us. We believe what the essence of "the Way Corps experience" means to us today is not to look backwards to reminisce, but to look forward to worship the Father and reach our world together. Our greatest days are ahead, growing more like the Lord till we see his face...

Gosh it was so wonderful to hear from you. Totally understand about uninterrupted time and busy. Jack just told me we had this message or I wouldn't have known. I count on him these days to check the at home computer and let me know if I have any messages. He's pretty faithful to check it daily since this site got up and running.
Wonderful to hear about your children - except for the impression I get that they are probably all Michigan fans? My guys are all died-in-the-wool Ohio State fans. They've continued to claim it as their home State all these years. Of course their Dad and their Uncle Scott probably had something to do with that. (You do remember that Jack grew up in Fostoria, Ohio, right?)
I also understand the feeling of your children being too far away since Jake is in California and Johnny is in Virginia. Grandchildren? They are the absolute best!!! So cute and the mischievousness is enjoyable because it's okay to laugh when you are the grandma. You can get away with it. You don't have to keep the discipline face on. What a hoot! No, really, it is such a pleasure watching Johnny Ray be the incredibly attentive and tender father he is. Brings joyful tides I never imagined possible welling up within. And Johnathon Riley is so much like him! Right down to that watch me close now; I'm about to do something I know better than to do grin;-)
Where in Florida do we live? We live in Pace, Florida which is just across the Escambia Bay from Pensacola in the Northwest Florida Panhandle. (A long way from Orlando.) I don't know if you've made it down to Shari's, but we are about an hour northwest. We were there today, actually and plan to go back tomorrow. I sure do love Victor. He is an incredible young man.
I have heard of the organization Kevin in working with, but that is about all. Not sure why I haven't really heard that much about it. I think Lonnie and Vicki Nelson mentioned it the first time I heard anything. They stayed with us (and their son, Sam.) when they came down to Florida on vacation last summer. I think I heard something about Wayne Clapp? (I don't know who he is, so it really didn't register with me and I honestly can't remember if much else was said.) Jack and I are still coordinating the Crestview Fellowship with Howard and Arlene Stokes, Lois Lancaster and some other old timers and some new folks too, of course. They are as sweet as ever.
Thanks for your email. Our home address is cwjw@bellsouth.net Jack will see that and let me know usually. I only check it every so often. If you want to be sure to get me, work is the best place to write. The address is: catina_wilson@sa01.org
Yep, when we moved down here and I started working professionally, I saw the opportunity to start using my real name, Catina. I like it a lot and was going to name my daughter Catina Marie, but she never came, so I decided I wanted to use it myself. So most people at work and in my "home town" who know me - with the exception of the believers, of course, know me as Catina Wilson instead of as Tina. That is also how I am in the phone book locally. Guess we all just keep growing and changing, don't we? Thank God for that! Life is fun, Sara. Challenging, but fun thanks to the Word I understand and have been able to hide in my heart because your father answered God's call and laid it out for us. Now we just keep going and growing as we were taught.
Okay, I am going to have to start closing this off b/c I am getting much too nostalgic. My mind just keeps going back to some of the times we had in the Corps - especially to our last year in-residence when you and Shari confirmed for me that Jack was "the one". I don't know if you even remember that. You were surely right. He has been so good for me; such a great balance. I can't think of anyone else who could have done as good a job of softening my "harda##". At the same time, he needed someone to bring him back in line every once in a while. We both continue with the iron sharpeneth iron thing. It's a blast. We are definitely having fun with the trip, but then life with Jack was always fun, wasn't it?
Truly, Sara, you would be astounded. This guy that used to be the "worker-bee" has become a true workman of the Word. He cannot get enough. It's as though we've switched seats from when we were in-residence. I love it! Well, I could go on, and on, and on. I sure do love you and I have so missed the fellowship. You have always been one of my favorite friends from in-residence. Sure love Shari Sue too. Great being able to see her. She is such a sweet heart.
Love always in Christ,
Tina
Great to see a picture of your beautiful family. Pray all is well with both and all the additions. Kevin I have been in Glen Alpine since Dec 10. My dad passed away Jan 15. It has been difficult but would not be anywhere else. Wondered if you come to Valdese ever and wondered about your parents.
Would love to see you both sometime.
Love you,
Belinda

PS Saw Randy Z and family a couple weeks ago, WOW!
Saw Art Poling too, and Tom M.
You all do look fantastic, and it blesses me to just see your smiling faces. I think of you often and wanted to send my love. Someone told me I'm driving right near your house when I fly into Dayton. One of these times I'll have to figure out where it is...!!
Much love,
Cheryl
It is so great to see your picture and what a beautiful family. I often think of that summer class in Gunneson when we spent some time together. I loved being up in the mountains in Colorado. Some great memories. I live in NH now. We have some beautiful mountains here too. God Bless. Judy
How are you? It was great to see your family picture!
I live in Charlotte now and work as a writer. You can see what I am doing on my website www.robinedgar.com

Jake is 22 and working with Jack's brother Jim in San Diego in a Jaguar shop that Jim owns and going to school for auto mechanics. They all seem to have the gift. (Johnny currently works on fighter jets.) Jake is pretty good friends with Ryan Smith, Donnie Smith's boy. Jake was a deck hand right out of high school and when he went to San Diego, I hooked him up with the Smiths there and he turned Ryan on to the deck hand industry. They all love to fish. He has that California long-hair look right night, but he needs to let his frizz instead of keep slicking it down. He is such a cutie still. Your guys are just dolls.
Jack and I are doing super - having a blast with the Word, with Fellowship and with one another. God has and continues to bless us immensely. Well, I'm finishing up at work. Left this to be the last thing b/4 heading home. Sure do love you, girl. You are just God's absolute Best!
I know we keep up but just wanted to greet to on this site. Sara you sure did bless Stacy last year, she speaks of you so often. I am enjoying her very much, she has so much energy it makes me tired just to think of her getting up in the morning, ha ha
It is so great to have her and Victor here with me. I hear them speak daily of something they learned last year with all you guys at CFF.
God Bless and love
Shari Sue
