"Hi David, It's great to hear from you! I remember how cool and talented you were in the corps. Hope all is well with you. Would love to see some of your work. God bless you! Chuck wants to say hi too. Hi David, You have been on my heart for over a…"
"Hi Rick, It's really nice to hear from you. Give our love to Diane. Wow, your kids are 33 and 25;it has been a long time! We're a little slow, we have a 16 year old boy and a 9 year old girl."
"Hey Charles and Beth Rix, Thanks for the nice comment. Great to see you guys here.
Hope this isn't a bad memory, but I'll never forget Charles getting thrown by that bull at the rodeo school in Gunnison. Wow, that was amazing. What's really amazing…"
Thanks for the nice comment. So glad to hear from you. Chuck says hi too. I love what you said and agree wholeheartedly, all that really matters is Jesus. God bless you!"
I am so sorry to hear about this. I didn't know she was sick. She was an incredible woman and I'm sorry to have lost touch with her for all these years.
May God wrap His loving arms around you and your family to comfort and strengthen you.…"
"Hi guys,
I don't really know either of you, although I do remember you both by sight. Just wanted to congratulate you on a beautiful family. You guys look great. I guess your kids' hair color wasn't a big surprise, was it? (LOL) No really, you guys…"
"Charlene, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear of the loss of such a great man as your husband. I didn't know him well, but I remember his smiling, handsome face from the 7th Corps. I am praying for the loving arms of our heavenly Father…"
"Hi Jo Ellen,
I remember babysitting Nathan in Baton Rouge, he surely can't be 32 years old. Say hi to Mike for me. Hope you're staying warm in Alaska!
love, Karie (Tourne') Masterson"
"Thomas,
So nice to hear from you. Thanks for the congrats on the Ph.D. Yes it was with Segert, got it in '94. When were you at UCLA?
I remember having the best job ever at HQ, listening to tapes and summarizing them (you were my boss).
I'd love to…"
"Thanks for the birthday wish. I don't know Dave, 50 doesn't sound that young to me, but I think I'm going to start subtracting birthdays from now on, so next year will be my 49th."
"Hi Sheila,
You found it! Great picture. It was so great to talk to you tonight. Did you see the 9th corps group? Last I checked it had over 30 people on it.
"Hi Michele, So nice to hear from you! Chuck will be so glad to hear that you're still getting your aerobic points. He's a little tired of me running up and down our stairs late every Saturday night to get them in before midnight. LOL (Remember the…"
I grew up in a suburb of New Orleans. Married to Chuck Masterson, also 9th Corps for 26 years.
Two children, Eric,15 and Aimee, age 9
I have a Ph.D. from UCLA in Near Eastern Languages.
Yes, it was Blossom! Thanks to Dale (aka Rughead). I cannot believe you remember that about GEPC! Those were wonderful loving days, weren't they? I've been thinking about your brother lately. Where is he, how is he doing?
I've been back to New Orleans a couple of times since Katrina. It's definitely different. Sad in some ways, but looking hopeful in other ways. Come to Indiana and see us!
Sweet, sweet Karie!
You look so lovely. I do get back to New Orleans at least once a year. My younger brother is still in Metairie and tons of cousins down in bayou country. Do you still have family there? I will always remember you as our "Sunshine" of those days way back when. With much love, Laurie
Hi Karie! It is so wonderful to be in touch with everyone. Of course I remember you well. I'm annoyed, though: How come you look 20 years younger than the rest of us? Please say hello to Chuck for me. I'm looking forward to much more connecting. Be well...
Great to see your face on here...been just a few years since the Way home in Metairie! Sure was a great year of learning. I will never forget Bruce Trammel and his Cajun stories. Sure love ya.
Great to see you --you still look the same as in the Corps. This site is so great for getting back in touch with believers. It is hard to imagine that you and Chuck have been married for 26 years--time does seem to fly.
Good for you that you got your Ph.D in Eastern Languages. Bob still enjoys working with Greek--he occasionally teaches a Greek class for those hearty souls.
We might be in CA looking at graduate sschools with one of our daughters in the upcoming year, if the lord tarries.

Loved your blogs and cried all the way through Be Thou My One. It delights my soul to read an author with a pure heart.
