About Me

I am married to Barbara Fisher, 9th Corps and have been for 31 years. We have 4 wonderful kids.

My Interests

Church, Worship Team, still into Christmas decorating, movies of all kinds with my 2 younger sons, making things beautiful whether a house, room, person, old stuff refurbished...the heavens which continually declare the glory of God, teaching and working miracles, ministering healing and seeing results. Teaching others how to pray effectually.

Employment or Career

I sell furniture and for the past 2 school years (2014 to present) have worked as a Sign Language Interpreter for a deaf boy at the Bath School system in Lima, Ohio.

Music I Like

I turned the radio off after the year 2000 after being a Top 40 expert since 1963 because of the crap that is now on the air that I am sure will be forgotten in 20 years, at least I hope so! I still am writing music and plays for church. Have many under my belt. Still like the songs of my youth...am a true baby boomer!

Books I Like

The Bible, of course, so many books by anointed Christians the world over that they cannot be listed. I like good mystery novels, trivia books, World Record books.

Television I like

Turned off the cable TV...I no longer watch TV

Movies I like

I love all kinds of movies, old and new...not into horror although we have watched some lately (the kids are not afraid or shocked at anything we see on the big or little screen...some of the things they have seen even in PG-13 movies I didn't see till I was way into my adult years!) My favorite movies of this past year were GRAN TORINO, Transformers Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Star Trek

Sports Teams I like

not into sports at all.

Hi Joe,

I don't know you but read your comment to LewEllyn and then your bio. I am glad to hear that you are standing so boldly for God. My husband and I have been doing the same in Phoenix and are seeing people get delivered, etc. Isn't this what we were supposed to be doing all along? God didn't make walking by the spirit 'rocket science'! He made ministering and operating the spirit of god pretty simple. We spealk boldly and He does all the heavy lifting...pretty easy.

Anyway, I just had to send you a note to say how blessed I was to read what you are doing to help people and further God's purposes.

HI! Did you live in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in the mid '80's? I think I wrote a magazine article on Twig fellowships that included the fellowship in your home--in fact I may have slept on your hide-a-bed sofa! Good to see you again. Hey Joe,
We're in the midst of Mardi Gras season and the actual day is tomorrow, so needless to say we are preoccupied with all the social activities and such. It meant a lot before but since Katrina most folks have a renewed commitment to this community and Mardi Gras is at the center of it all.
We bought a new house last month and we've been so busy with getting it ready to move into. We haven't been spending time doing the usual things, one of which is keeping up with folks on-line. Wow! They are surely growing up! I haven't been to the site in a few days. So much going on in life. The resident council here where I live is having a few problems with management. I was a bit undone by some of their agents this past week. Keep the MLK Tenants Assoc. in prayer. We have every right to hold meetings without management and they are trying to muscle in on that right. The residents do not want management in theri meetings unless they have been invited. In the pastt we have invited them regularly. Freedom and liberty are elements we must always watchguard. Take care.
