About Me

Moved to Nashville after graduation in 1987. Like many, we were hardly prepared for the next few years. We're very thankful for the strength of the Word that lived in those around us. Some folks we still see and some seem to have vanished. We spent a time in western North Carolina and that was painful. We moved back to Nashville in 1990. I was recuited to oversee a start-up of a technical firm in LaCrosse and we moved to Wisconsin in 1991. Even though our boys, Brandon and Ben, were born in Nashville, soon Wisconsin became their home. We lived and thrived there. My professional career blossomed, along with another start-up. I joined a huge corporation and began the climb. The whole time, we had fellowship in our home, loved each other, and gave wherever we could. In 2007, we moved to Lake County, IL and I changed companies. The work was great, more of the same, but this time I'm the home office guy and I traveled every week to different states and taught. The position was eliminated, like many, in 2009. I was unemplyed (and sort of on a vacation) for 16 days before we switched gears and moved to Omaha to take a psoition with a similar company, but in a field office. I'm home almost every night and loving it. We still have fellowship in our home. I don't ever want to lose that. The boys are grown (mostly). Ben is in his 3rd year at Bowling Green State University and will be a Creative Writing professor. Brandon has moved to Omaha to be near us, gain his Nebraska residency, and resume his studies in Music Ed, with a goal of being a HS Band director. Both are Advanced Class grads. Brandon is a Way Disciple alum. Vicki and I are loving this time of our lives. We have a hound, Gunner, the smartest dog in the world. He loves us unconditionally and try to return the favor.

Hi Jim

Happy birthday. One of the things that was always special on my birthday was to

receive a birthday card from Dr. and Mrs. Wierwille. Mrs. Wierwille had the

primary responsiblity for seeing that they went out. It was great to be remembered.

Jim, first of all please give Vicky my love and my apologies. I'm sure she will know why. HOw is her book coming along or is it done already? I did ask my dad about the "show of force" and he did not know of it or at least didn't remember. His ship was the SS Langley. ANyway, glad to hear from you and I love the pictures.

I also love to have fellowship in my home nd hope that never changes...

Are you going to the ADV Class Special in April? If so, see you there!

Hey Jim. Glad to hear from you. I think of you and Vicki often. I see your boys have grown up and you live in a cold climate. We just got back today from FL at the Advanced Class, with CR & F. Warm weather and lots of God's Word. Saw the Hamiltons (Doug and Kristin), Cindy Gendron, Alan Michaelson, and several other "old" corps folks from different Corps years.
