I just wanted to "holla back at ya!" I appreciated your comments about all the glory going to God, who alone is worthy of all glory and honor and praise. Your remarks brought to mind a poem that I had written after reflecting on the glory of God as revealed in His handiwork. I thought that if the beauty of the natural world, even in its fallen state, is so breath-takingly beautiful, how much more magnificent will be the resplendent glory of His creation when the whole earth will be filled with the glory of the knowledge of God. Indeed, the crowning display of the God's masterful creative touch is the new man, which after God was created in righteousness and true holiness that we might be to the praise of glory. I am reminded once more that it's Christ in you and Christ in me, the hope of the glory to come. Each day we get closer to fullness of the manifestation of the reality.
I trust the poem will be a blessing. Let's keep in touch.

Beauty of His Glory
The earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.
Psalm 24:1-2
Coral reefs, spread as carpets on the ocean floor,
Line and define spaces eyes have never seen.
Clear Pacific waters invite us to explore
Gentian and magenta, deepest aquamarine
Edges of ridges splashed with luminous paint
In shades only the master artist can display,
As fish arrayed in splendor take your breath away.
We shall view hues more glorious if we do not faint.
Just as wild flowers encircle as a garland,
Rising with the sun to blanket an Alpine slope,
And before the sun sets, their place is a wasteland,
So creation groans and travails, waiting in hope.
Beauty of His glory unfolds without measure:
Earth, sun and sky created for His good pleasure.

I heard from Marvin Cooper that you attended Ambassadors for Christ recently, and unfortunately I was not there. Brenda was going on a cruise for her 60th birthday, and I was taking her to the airport. I would love to get together sometime. Maybe we could get together for lunch or something. You have a moving business, right? I'm sure that's been a fascinating adventure. We have two daughters, and recently one or the other has moved each year. Generally I coordinate their moves, and they become a kind of yearly physical fitness test for me. Over a year ago our daughter Melissa moved to Atlanta, and she stayed with my sister. A couple of months ago, she moved into her own place, and we went down to help her move. I have been blessed with good health and stamina, so I am able to help out a great deal. Although I enjoy moving my daughters, I don't think I'd like to do it every day. I'm sure you have found this kind of work to be a very "moving" experience.
Again, thanks for coming by. Let's keep in touch.
God bless,
Lonnell
