About Me

I have been married to Chris Berard for 23 years now, and we have been in the Northern Idaho area for the past 17, so pretty sure this is home now. I like the four seasons, could live with a bit more sun light during the winter, but other than that...it is a nice place. We have three daughters, Brittney 19, who is Sophmore at BSU, Brook 17, and Morgan 13. They are all different and great, and we feel very blessed, as we are.

My Interests

I still love the outdoors, even after three years at LEAD. Love to hike, run, bike, boat, sail, play tennis, in the winter I like to do just about anything outside other than camp!! We ski, snowmobile, and Xcountry ski too. I spend plenty of time running, as it tends to be theraputic for me, try to do at least one 1/2 marathon a year.

Employment or Career

I work as a Med Tech in a Forensic Toxicology lab testing for drugs of abuse. I like it as the hours work well for our family, and I like that I am challenged and busy.

Music I Like

Not picky, and I love that the teenagers always have something new they are trying out on us!!

Books I Like

I love to read, and I do read a lot. Most favorite book has to be Undaunted Courage, also enjoy forensic science books, murder mysteries and historical fiction. The girls and I read anything else that is coming out from the Harry Potter series to the lastest book in the Eragon Series. Not too picky about what books I am reading either, just love to read!

Television I like

Not a lot of time for this...do Tvo the Grey's Anatomy..not a surprise there.

Sports Teams I like

This is Chris's arena, not mine! Other than men's tennis I don't spend a lot of time watching!

Just read your comment below. Yes, time does fly. Robert is 21! He is working for now and may go back to school. Still figuring out what he wants to do! Andrew is a junior in high school. Art and I, well we're doing fine. I attended (along with Andrew) a prophetic workshop this weekend. It was pretty cool. Hiking and biking are fun in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter.

It would be fun to see you guys again.

Genine, what do we have to do to get Jayne and Sal to come visit us? We should meet sometime...I am not sure if I know Chris or not. I live up in Twin Lakes. Would love to see you guys sometime. I finally got in contact with Sal. I haven't seen or heard from him since the big split. I am thinking about heading down that way one of these days. Anyway, just thought I would try to enlist some help in getting them to come visit. God bless, Dave

I was just looking through the members list and saw your name. I don't go on the site very often, but it's fun to page through it once in a while to see who I know...like you!
Please give my love to Chris. It was great to read about your family, but it's hard to believe it was that long ago. Wow, 21 years!

G-nine! Good to hear from you! Time IS flying! I'm going to be a grandma in January! Starr and her husband Luke have a little one on the way.

Hi Genine,
how are you? I often think of you and Chris as i tell people of my LEAD adventures. I am a Register Respiratory therapist as of May and i am working at the same hospital that I work at before and love it. The boys and David are good. David has a bunch of stuff on our site on this WC site. Bless you & love, Linda
